Yeah, I never removed the whole panel.

Daryl has though when he installed his front speakers. I'll shoot him an e/m and see if he'll chime in.

Remove all visible screws....... then remove the snap-in panels behind the door handle and arm rest and remove those bolts. Once you have all screws and bolts out, remove the panel by lifting it up and towards you.

Different subject- here's the link to my AVIC D3 pix.

I think I have them all out now. Is there just 1 screw behind the power switch plate/arm rest? I got the power switch plate out, but the arm rest didn't come out with it. I pulled on the door and it feels like there might still be a screw somewhere. I didn't pull real hard because it was dark and I couldn't see anything. They'll be done tomorrow and hopefully my couple lowering problems will be taken care of.

That pretty much sums it up. Just take your time and be careful. I took the door cable off as well if I remember so I could place the door panel completely out of my way. When putting it back on be careful and don't over tighten the screws. that plastic is weak and can crumple under to much torque.

Thanks Daryl. It's a bit tough to be careful with this pull-and-peel plastic paneling we have though. Sometimes you just gotta yank and hope for the best.

SHR Fuel door gone....

Decided not to keep the fuel door so it's on it's way back to SHR. But....I've decided to get a custom rear medallion like Brads. Only thing I may do differently is slap on a GT emblem. Here's a pic for those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about.

Thanks. BTW-I've been looking at the SHR louvers lately and I found some pics that really have me leaning towards them. Only hang up is I'd like to see them in person first. Seems like no one in socal has them.

Leo in my book the SHR louvers are the best on the market, and in my book this would give you a decided advantage at a car show over you know who (not to be named white striped torchie red kind of color)

This is how all Mustangs should come from the factory as.....

I did mine Thursday. I'm leaving here around 9:30 or so. It's the first time I've washed my car since the Queen Mary XI !!!! and I think the longest I've let it go.

Best part of today... Checking out Jed's car ! Who cares about the wedding. I want to see that blower

The SHR louvers are the only ones I've ever liked. Too bad you can't see them in person, because I know you would like them. They really are high quality stuff. (of course)

Nice choice Leo, I like those a lot. Maybe I'll invest sometime in the future. Who will do the install?

Hey guys, we had the Brenspeed fall dyno day today... I pulled a new best when running my stock 17" wheels- 469/414. I posted some vids of the pull........ BUT, also there were many other cars there, one of which was an 1130 rwhp Monte Carlo! Check out the vids!
