Ponies on The Run (Again)
It's mean to be eaten!
Glad to hear the Taco's unblemished record remains intact.

Good deal on the D-Plates. These were a piece of cake to install, right Leo? ... as long as you have a #30 Torx bit.
I thought I gave you a bottle of Loctite?
Not sure how it attaches, but do you have 21mm ratcheting wrench?
You're always welcome to take another road trip up to the Bill & Kevin Mod Shop.

1) Didn't have a 21mm deep socket
2) For some f'ed up reason the bolts on my a-arms are reversed. So the nuts are facing up towards the car instead of at the ground. Not sure if even once I get a 21mm deep socket I'll have enough room to turn the wrench.
3) Need to get some loctite.
See what happens when you don't do a mod at Bill and Kevin's. It's nice to have the necessary tools.
So with that said I was so PO'd I didn't even attempt the LCA relo bracket install.
For reference the bolts on the a-arms are supposed to be like you see in the pic mine are upside down.

You don't need Loctiteâ„¢ - those are lock nuts.

Glad you weren't busted for loudness, Bill!

It's a flag bolt, so you'll probably need an offset open end wrench to start loosening the nut (doesn't look like there's enough room to slip the box end wrench over the bolt shank; too close to the body), then can switch over to a ratcheting offset once there's enough room.
As far as torqueing it down, you may need an offset crowsfoot with wierd extensions just you have the room to manuever the tq wrench around. Or, just resort to the calibrated elbow method.

Now that you mentioned it I know exactly where that bottle of loctite is. It's in the bag o' rags.
I'm an idiot I didn't even look to see if I had a 21mm wrench. I don't have any ratcheting wrenchs but a plain old 21mm wrench should do the trick. I'll have to check when I get home tonight. If not it's off to Sears.
Thanks for the offer Bill but I think I'll give it one more shot before throwing in the towel.
Yes please I'm curious to see how your nuts are oriented.
Yeah, totally glad I didn't get popped for 'no cats'. My excuse would've been that I just installed some Pep Boys 'Turbo' mufflers.

Yes the D-plates are cake as long as you've got that #30 torx bit. If not you have to lug your intake manifold a few blocks to the local mechanic shop.
Might I add that Leo ran down the street with the manifold under his arm. Wish we would've had a pic of that!

I knew it.

Tom's right.. those ratcheting wrenches cost some $$$. Better off getting the whole set.

See you Saturday.

It says Hooters racing. Bill, I was going to buy that same jacket last Christmas, but when I called, they were out of my size. I hope they get some this year.

What's better then a Watts Link?
What's better is when two Watt's Links show up at your door step! It's Xmas in October! Did you note the Saleen sticker? I told you they were the same as Saleen's there's proof They arrived yesterday in these big lanky boxes I didn't open the boxes yet because I think it will be better to leave it in tact when I deliver it to GTR for installation. I'll take a ton of pictures then of the install. I plan to leave my Roush rear sway bar in place and not install the one that came with it unless have to. According to Ryan @ JDM he said that's fine.
