LEO !!!!!
SDMC Oct 14th show... a BIG NO-GO for me. I am leaving on that Sunday to Rincon beach and then onto Pismo Monday Morning from there. For some reason I thought we were leaving for Rincon on Monday....

Too bad about missing the SD show, but it may have been too close to the QM show (aka. burnout).

This SD show will be second to the last show for me this year. November will be the final show at Sunset Ford. I think after that, I'll be driving it alot more. I tell ya, if it weren't for hanging out with my buds, these shows are too long and boring.

Cool on Pismo Beach! I stayed at the Kon Tiki Inn a couple years ago, had lots of fun and was right on the beach!
Wanted to try that clam chowder joint (blue/white building on the corner) along that main street that leads to the pier, but never made it.

I think volunteering Saturday for 6 hours, being at the QM at 6 and quite literally having about an hour all day that I wasn't volunteering, or assigned to some area, killed me. If I go I want to be able to walk around and have time to meet people.

Still the show think still might not be "me". I'll do Sunset and see how I feel after that.

The blue & white place rocks... but even better is Mo's Smokehouse It's one place that I hit no matter what. We'll be staying in Mom & Dad's RV/5th Wheel trailer... The park has free wifi so I'll still have something to do...

Oh man, that place looks great!

A cold one on tap plus any one of these (full slab of course!), and you're set!

Philthy Phil's Ribs
Tender & flavorful, smoked with real hickory, then basted with a vinegar & mustard-based sweet & spicy sauce with a bit of a kick! Incredible!
1/2 slab $14.95 · 3/4 slab $17.95 · full slab $21.95

Sweet Carolina's Pork Ribs
Slowly smoked with real hickory very tender with a sweet BBQ sauce!
An award winner coast to coast
1/2 slab $14.95 · 3/4 slab $17.95 · full slab $21.95

BBQ Rib Combo
Can't decide which is best? Neither can we, so "Mo says" Try all three because they are all so uniuqe!

I'm sure it didn't help that you weren't feeling well. I think the last couple of days is aiding my current distaste for shows. By November I'll be better..... I think ??

Is that BJ's? Main St. is like crazy crowded 7 days a week!

Shows are 'okay'. Like I mentioned, I don't know how many more I'll be in. The allure of being in a carshow wears out quick after a couple hours.
That's why Ricky & Ronnie's is cool.. 2 hours max and you're outta there!

George, going to tackle the install yourself? If so, you're welcome to come down and observe Brian's install. That way you'll know exactly what to expect.

PM me your e-mail addy if you're interested.

No not at all, is across from some Mexican place that I can't remember, it can get crowded I guess but I've never seen it like that. The BJ's in Brea is like the HB one crowded all the time

Brian- Check the throw in my shifter in the morning and see if it's what you like. If so, we'll set yours at 5 turns out (which will be approx 35% reduction in throw from stock). Keep in mind that the more the shifter block is turned out to (to a max of 10), the more 'notchier' it'll feel.

Leo- If we get lucky on Friday afternoon, we can start the hood stripe then.
I'll try to join you guys if things work out schedule wise. Today I picked up my Roush suspension parts and LCA's Muhahahahah!

This might delay me gettin the Roush back this Sat I can't wait to be back in the drivers seat I'd like to see that shifter install so when I do it, it will be ez.

I guess this means I have to spend more money ahhhhhh...okay

For this Saturday, pending we have the time, we'll have to come up with some video/pic footage that top the famous POTR1 video!

Now as long as we all stay out of the slammer (aka. Big House), I think we can do it!
