Bill2
macpro(tower) vs 24" Imac... if it were me, I'd get the tower. It'd be much more flexible, but it depends on what you're gonna do with it. I wish my G5 was an intel machine

I loaded BF2 on the macbook, dad's PC was insufferable, and it dies immediately. I allocated 1GB mem, through parallels, and it's got enough disc space. When I run the easyinfo program it says the macxp fails on CPU and RAM ??? WTF ? Once I can get it figured out I'm ready to be a killing machine... But this weeks has been the pits tonight is the only "off" night when I'm home and don't have plans or time to burn on a computer.

First the Mustang stuff. Mobil 1 filter lovers.... check this thread out.
http://forums.bradbarnett.net/showthread.php?t=69442 maybe it's OK maybe not. Haven't read the whole entire thread yet, but after a cursory glance I'm glad I'm using a Motorcraft filter.

Next Mod, after stripes this weekend (god I hope it goes OK). Tonight I'm gonna remove the wax from the car, get the centerline marked and get the vinyl pieces numbers and set aside individually. With luck I'll get pics as I go. Don't expect a TacoBill write up though.

MGW Shifter. Maybe even get it in before the end of this month. Doesn't someone here still want a Hurst ??? Kyle?? I'll have one to sell soon !!

Jed.... MacBook + BF2 = No Go
Stupid vid card doesn't support things that BF2 needs. So it looks like I either need to buy a new macpro or Virtual PC from MS. BF2 is on hold for now. 300 or so bucks will go into my car first.

OK Here is my opinion on this whole thread. Who gives a ****. If any oil filter fails FORD would not cover it under the Vehicle Warranty anyway. It would be the responsibility of the filter maker regardless of who it was and it just so happens they make the filter so they would be responsible for it. It really has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the vehicles warranty. No company can demand you use a specific brand of filter (or anything) unless they provide that specific unit for free.

Oh, that place. Yeah, heard of it... might even went in there once a while back.
I thought maybe an Apple store opened up here in the South Bay.

Thanks for the concern Brian. I highly doubt any engine failures were a direct result of using a Mobil 1 filter... Fram maybe.

Either way, I'll be using a Ford Racing filter on my next oil change (coming in Dec).

Good luck Brian.

Do all the easy ones first so you can get familiar with how the vinyl behaves.

One last tip, mix up a whole bottle of the BSM mix and use it like it's going out of style.

So where are you scoring a Ford racing filter Billy Boy, seems like wherever I look its you have to buy 12 of them (case)

I think I finally passed you in mileage, I just turned 1650 but then again mine is not a GQ.

Yup, I think it was number 2 (in their trilogy).

KC sent me a free FRPP filter when I bought the TMS carcover.
I'm sure he can sell them to you individually.

1650? Your car is all used up; time to trade her in!

Speaking about oil filters,etc...

I've been looking for this dual oil filter system below. No luck yet in my search! I know Perma Cool makes something like this but I like this model/design better:

I saw this in a Pinto!
