No argument there
I agree. I don't even think it's a noticeable enough mod. I can't imagine someone saying: "wow, he has a honeycomb insert in the center of the lower grille"
No offense to marcello, but it just doesn't seem like a mod that's on people's mind. But, knowing Marcello, it WILL look factory.
EDIT: well, after reviewing the thread again, I DO see how it could protect the radiator, which is somewhat important

3 Stangs in PV
TacoBill, Habu and I did a little photo shoot at the PV proving grounds. Here's a few snaps. More pict's to come it was a fun afternoon in Cali The Taco made the arrangments for our cute model and Chris kept us working
Cool pics, I love the Palos Verdes area... I used to cruise over there regularly. It was always fun to see how much the road and such near San Pedro shifted.
Well I'm off to North Carolina for a couple of days, I'm driving this time. I am going to see if can do it all the way with the 93 Race tune. Got the tuner just in case I need.

My niece Kai said that she had a great time posing with our Stangs. I'll hit you up for the photoshoot CD, she wants a copy of it to add to her portfolio. Since we're neighbors, I'll just run over to your pad to pick it up! (well okay, maybe I'll drive.)
Sorry we missed CPK, we'll cash in on that rain check soon.

It was a lot of fun. Tell Kai thanks !! Bill... thanks for the arrangements and Bill2 for providing the Kick A$$ cameras. Can't wait to see the CD!
CPK was great !! First time I've ever been to one.

Might get low on fuel and at an exit where 93 isn't available.
Well made it up here ok. Lots of police on the roads today so I took it easy, with in 5 mph of the posted speed. I averaged 67 mph and 26.3 mpg. Not too bad. I saw gas prices as low as $2.41 for 87 in Spartenburg. I'll hit that on the way back.

Easy! Just think how much $$$ the speeding ticket will cost, that'll be enough to deter you.
Phil PM's me this morning about his dyno experience in Houston. It was in that order.
3+ hours in the blazing humid heat with 5 cars still ahead of him waiting for dyno tunes, I don't think he hung out much past that point.

Just so you know anything I say here will be almost exactly (some paraphrasing) what I forwarded to Joe, owner of DynoJoe's in Houston. DynoJoes' was the sponsor and organizer of Dyno Days and tunes by BamaChips (Doug)
I sent Joe a detailed PM with my observations and thoughts on the events, some were brutally honest on my part but then again its what I saw through my eyes and what I personally experienced.
At a high level I summarized my thoughts to Joe as follows:
So to summarize the event;
- Unorganized
- Poorly communicated
- Confusion as to times, dates and pricing
- Deception/misconception not sure which order, but I think unintentional.
- Un-organization probably caused undue strife and stress to Doug from Bama, it was an unrelenting schedule of tuning for Doug.
I had such high hopes for the event, but total lack of organization, no scheduled appointments as promised and last minute unannounced pricing changes (higher) on the day of the event made for a bad experience. Waiting upwards of 5-6 hours in oppressive heat is not a good thing for customers and event attendees. Like I said I have painful detail but we'll leave it at this.
You asked John............................
Nothing wrong with speaking the truth. If services rendered was good, praise it. If bad, warn others.

I don't think Phil stuck around to get his car up on the dyno. After hanging around for hours on end waiting for his turn and still not getting any closer to the dyno rollers, I think he called it a day.
