Nice job with the Cam Covers and the Deletes Leo. Its really looking great.

I need to do this at some point as this is a cheap mod.

Well, my UDP's are in Montgomery so I should get them this afternoon!

Good job Leo, allowing Bill to think your carpet will be dirty for show night. I mean really your GT is a DD and Bills is a GQ.

Little know fact, Bill does not drive with shoes on, only socks so he can keep the dirt off his floor mats in the car.................................

Just kidding Bill we know you’re a bare foot kind of guy……………

Very funny Phil!

Here's a TB tip for all you dirty floor matters..
Get a cheap black (since I have the blk interior) bath towel, cut/fold it, and place it on top of your mats. When show time comes, remove the towels to show off your perfectly clean mats.

Ever try and drive barefoot on non-slip racing pedals? Ouch!

A free tip from TB, wow what a great start for this fine Tuesday. And yes I imagine driving bare foot with those pedals would not be fun.

But geez Bill, you have to tell us how many road hardened miles you have on the GQ now? We all know it's NOT a DD. I have 950 miles now, they are starting to pile up for me. I think the car is now 2.5 months old or so, so I’m forecast to drive about 5K per year.

Thanks for the free tip though, if I could find some $ for air far and your high fee's I’d have you in Houston for Tire Roasting 101 sessions. ha

I think it's somewhere in the 1390's. Now if we're talking engine RPM cycles for a typical car, it's probably close to 13900!

I'm going on 11 months and if I get one more trip in I'll hit 20,000 for the year. Yup... I love to ride my pony!

Me thinks John is in Chicago??????????????? If so then we probably won't see John "the Lackey" installing these soon.

John I wish you lived closer to me so we could team up on some of these mod installs I want to do. An experienced helping hand would be great and calming to me.

My boss might not think that idea is a winner.

Nope, made it back late saturday night, sans the luggage. Delta couldn't see fit to deliver it with a 2 hour layover.

My wife would love that, she would move back to Texas in a heartbeat!
But hey, I am real good at supervising!

Expect what you saw at the Sunset and Knott's show except your car will be there for all to judge.

Thanks.

BTW-Just got my new K&N filter installed. Also just finished ordering the GMS Swaybar Delete. Should be here by Thursday so I should be able to put it on before Race Legal on Friday.

FYI-The GMS swaybar is $25 with $15 shipping flate rate anywhere in the US.

FYI-Bill's installing the Fading stripes. To bad they're not offered in matte black.

Brian they'd complement your upcoming stripes.
Are you going to keep your blackout panel?

Well, the pullies are here, and in great shape too! I wonder if I could paint the degree marks...

All done! Fading rocker stripes look fantastic! Totally satisfied with my new look now.

I'm uploading now, just hang tight for a few and I'll post some up.

Leo, stop giving Brian graphic ideas until after the R&R show... I need my edge!

Leo painted his water pump pulley and stripped the paint off his crank.

If you're going to shoot the crank pulley, mask off the belt drive and apply a thin layer of grease over the rubber seal on the face of the pulley (per Steeda Gus).
You may as well paint the water pump pulley while you're at it too.

hate to be the wet-blanket...
I am not a fan of side stripes, so Bill, you still have your edge. The Le-Mans stripes would be the only stripes I'd put on my car.

GMS Sway-bar delete Sorry. If anything I'll put the FRPP set on my car and if I do more drags I'd just un-bolt the fronts. I know what Leo and Tom say still it isn't for me.

Anything I'd do for drag related performance suspension wise would be CHE K-brace & torque limiters and Rear LCA/UCA. Maybe a set of M&H or MT cheater slicks.

UDPs.... I waited almost a week and nothing. Finally when the site came back up he said he "might" have sold them to someone local. Heck I even offered to pick them up and pay immediately. I sent the PM less than 3 hrs after the inital post. Can't win them all I guess.
