Was away at Daytona Beach all weekend. Not like I can keep up when I'm at home with my "limited internet usage".

Calipers look good, Brian.

Looking forward to seeing pics when Bill's wiring nightmare is finished.

Brian, calipers look great! It really draws attention to your wheels now.

My Alpine wiring nightmare is over!

All switches, video bypass, voltmeter, rear camera, and Raptor work perfectly.

Big thanks to Kevin, Kevin (my other electrician brother-in-law), and Leo. Each had made a contribution to the mod.

I'll do a mini-write-up for each component later, but here's a sneak peak..

Feast your eyes on this...

Nice job Brian and Bill. Such an odd place for a gauge, but I like the look Bill.

Brian - The calipers look good.

Bill - Wow, that camera works really well!. I am surprised at how wide the angle is and how good the video quality is... You usually don't get both. Looks good Bill.

WoW Billster

What a surprise to have the Ponies on the Run video playing on the unit.....................

I like the placement of the shift light, that’s a good place, who's idea came up with that? Was it hard to retro-fit it there?

I also am surprised by the rear cam quality, looks great.

Can you play DVD movies while you drive down the road?

Did you have to use a stand alone DVD player tied into the unit or are you using the units DVD playing capabilities. Confused as to the DVD switch you have in the old cup holder area.

Overall its spectacular, and its nice to see the Taco challenged for a change.

Brian-Calipers look great, one of the mods I have had on the list for a long time just no time or patience to do it yet.

Bill-That looks great

I assume the DVD switch is for the video bypass which allows the DVD to play while driving. (Am I right Bill?)
He uses one DVD unit, the Alpine IVA W205

I ended up pulling the HU out and loosened those side support screws (on the dash kit) and sliding it back a little further.
Then had to pull it back out again because the flip out screen wouldn't open (hit the top of the upper dash trim). So, had to re-adjust the trim to give it enough clearance for the screen to move.

I'll try and make it, but can't promise that I'll bring the Stang. It's guitar lessons for Chris that night and I ain't going to park the GT in the school's overcrowded parking lot.

I got the idea of the shift light location from PMP. They have a trick billet bezel that's custom made for the Raptor shift light.

Like Daryl said, the DVD switch controls the video bypass which allows DVD's to be played while the car's in motion. When the switch is off, it essentially disables the bypass feature.

And yes, this project was a PITA for all involved!

Mike, I'm so very sorry. You have everyone's sympathy. Hopefully you can pull through this. There's not a whole lot to say, I was really speechless when I read it. Keep your loved ones close and try to grieve like you should. Hope to see you back one day. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Mike, I am very sorry to hear this news. I've tried a couple times to post something and I am really at a loss for words. I cannot begin to grasp what it must be like.

When you get to the point that you can come back, we'll be here waiting for your return. Now family is much more important.
You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.
Brian
