Bill here I go thinking on my own again.

I saw a pic of a GT from one of the members here I think that had the Ford Racing Tack installed from the left pillar close to the dash. It looked pretty good with its white face and blue lettering. It was good size, probably 5". I'm thinking that would look good in the garage queen...........................

What color is your pick? Black crinkle?

Something always alluring to me about the Powered by Ford Blue Crinkle, it would be blue or black when and if I do this mod.
Nope I think black will blend in to much. I'll probably go Silver.

Silver is nice or what Bill is getting is nice, Black might be to stealth like you said and blue, blue is cool interesting to me. Hey I'm way off on this so no need for me to get my undies in a knot, but dreaming is always a plus.

Thanks for your thoughts Leo

It might not be "cheap plastic" but it looks cheap (chicken wire). The bat on the center of the grill is the final nail in the coffin. The only replacement grills I've seen and like are the CDC Billet grill and the SSE Center fog grill.

Not sure Mike, I like the Pony that’s in the middle of our grills right now and this eliminates that but I like the overall mesh look. I'd probably pass on it as it doesn't quite grab my tastes but we are all different and if this floats your boat then go for it by all means. It's nice looking, it's not a dweeb type look that’s for sure or at least MHO.

I always liked the look of the center fog grill and I always like black. This might do for me. Good choice Leo

I've see the Agent 47 car up close & personal and IMO the only parts I like are the mirrors. I am not a fan of any of the restyling, duct, ram-air work they've done to the S197.

So, uh to answer your question, . Leo's right, go for the SSE center fog grill.

Not really that difficult at all. Skip the whole freezing/boiling the pulley part, I'm getting a replacement soon and I'll just install it with the install tool.

On the camcovers, of course there's a bit of a learning curve involved, but I think they can be swapped out in less than 2 hours if no pics are involved.

Pic link?

I'm not a huge fan of the large tachs, unless my car was converted to full race or something.

My suggestion?

Get them all!

+1 on the silver. black or blue wouldn't work in Leo's engine bay, maybe the chrome though.

Not feeling it too much. I see from the side pic that the stock headlight position gets eliminated and brought in where the fogs are?

These might look good on a car that'll be full of exteroir mods (body kits, etc.), but on a relatively stock outside, might look a little out of place.

Oh great now I have to go and find it, geez Bill. I'll try. It looked good though, something about the large Ford Racing white face tach tucked off to the side just saying to all those looking on, "This is one bad GT"

And what a surprise you telling me to just go get every one of the mods I listed. I wish.................... $ will be my limiter I'm afraid. You must have a preference, HP or performance takes priority over appearance maybe?

Think I might have to agree with the majority here. I would go for a lot of different grilles over this one. There's just nothing that special that stands out in my mine. That being said, if YOU really like it...then DO IT. I would certainly say it's nothing bad, I just don't really care for it.

The Bat Bull$hit is optional and not wanted as they have those non-bat in stock. I won`t do anything to the lights...and the Fog`s are just 2 inches closer to the regular lights. I do like that "Bullet" look tho.....And metal. HHmmmmm. I do so dislike billet grills on S197`s. And the fogs closer just dosn`t do it for me.

Decisions...decisions....

If you're planning on entering a carshow (or see it in your near future), then go for some cosmetic mods. If no plans on entering it, I'd do some of the performance mods. Either way, I'd probably go for the tint next for obvious reasons.

Pass. $236?

I think of my interior thus far as 'classy' with a touch or 'race inspired'. But, that big tach, although very much functional, wouldn't work with my interior theme.

Huh? 2 inches? Looks more like a foot to me.

Mike, quit smoking those reefers.

Blech. I'd rather have a 3 element Top Fuel style wing on struts with vortex generators.....all carbon fibre of course.

Hey I'm just posting link. I think that thing looks fugly. I don't need no tach in my Speed-o-matic.
