True story!

And the result of our collective reasoning...

Not pictured is the chrome Shaker radio **** and brushed finish door pins.

btw- Tom and I also got into a long discussion about the very recent chrome bezels!

Throw it on and take a pic. Then present it to the Council.

AND.. when is MGW going to come out with their license plate frame?? It's been 'Coming Soon' like forever and a day!

OK... will do that tomorrow.

BTW, I love the discussions and debates. It helps people see or realize something that may not have dawned on them before.

"Too much chrome", or "it doesn't look good" are opinions... but if somebody said, "Ya know, Mustangs never came with chrome bezels around the taillights, so that looks out of place", well that would be a valid point and would make me think twice. This is just an example, of course.

We were making tacos tonight and I remembered about it. By then it was too dark to make the video. Maybe tomorrow.

Mmm! Homemade shredded chicken in corn tortilla with some cheese, then fried in oil?

Man, I could eat several of those!

I have two new frames still in plastic, 1 chrome, and 1 black... both have the clear plate cover:

New discussion/debate... chrome taillight bezels are on for good. Now...

Chrome frame or black frame?

Might need the picture before discussing...

I personally like thin frames, not thick.

In case you didn't know, Advance Auto (or whatever autoparts store) has "thinner" frames that actually allow the plate to go over the holes for mounting. Thus, you don't get the mounting holes over the plate, which gives a much cleaner look.

I think the plates are made by the "California" company. I'm not positive on the brand, but I know for a fact that they have a blue piece of paper that I'm pretty sure says california as the fake license plate (the part where yours say bell)

If you look closely at the pics, you will see the thin chrome frame, and just the bolts (no "drop-down" part for the bolts). The license plate fits on top of the frame.

BTW, I believe it is available in black as well. It's only about $8 I think, and it isn't cheap plastic. (I think its real metal, but if not, it's very good plastic)

I definitely agree with you on that one. Some people have mods that ONLY they think look good (or a select few people). That's where the "to each his own" comes in.

My point was just that if you don't like the way something looks on your own personal car, then you DEFINITELY shouldn't install it, because you are the one that has to look at it everyday, and pay for it too

I think they'll both look good, but will need some 'on car' shots to be sure.

I do like the frames suggested by Mike.

Hey! I have one of those $5 cheap plastic frames.

It's totally bada$$ though!

Sorry Mike, but is there a reason for the plate blackout? Is it ?
Personally, I never get it when folks block it from pics.. don't people see it when they're driving behind you?

I know, I know. It isn't a "secret" what my plate is, as it's viewable to ANYONE that notices it while driving. But, when posted on the internet, it is visible to EVERYONE. And, with us being on the internet, it's a lot easier for someone to find info from it right away (if that's even possible), vs. someone taking the time when they get home to find out info about me.

Maybe I'm just being paranoid. But remember, I don't want to sign up on Photobucket either

I have it sans clear plastic.

I like the position. Unfortunately, mine already had holes drilled, so my plate is positioned in the "normal/typical" position.

But, I did put on the GT/CS bracket, so it looks A LOT better now.

Here's another pic for Bill :

Well since it's me and my cars one year anniversary I decided it would be a great time for a photoshoot with the new camera (Canon SD600).

Here's some of my favorites.

Here's some pics of Powered by Ford emblem in different locations. Let me know which one you think looks best. Or if you think no putting anywhere would be the better choice.

Here's some way better pics of the shaker w/o ducting.

And finally here's the minor rubbing problem I'm having with the tower covers.
