Well, it happened on the way home today.
Yes, it was an illegal street race in Long Beach.
Both of us at the redlight and waiting for the GREEN.
Light changed, I jumped ahead of Leo and smoked him big time!
All that track experience couldn't help Leo today. Like others before him, he fell prey to TacoBill's GT!
(Waiting for Leo's excuse... )

Flock is down for some reason, so I'll have to manually upload the pics into my Bucket album.
Here's a couple previews though.

It was nice meeting Doug. He seemed to be a real friendly down-to-earth guy. I can't wait to get my tunes from him. I only wish I could have seen the 3 x-chargers fired up. Bet that was cool.
But no matter what they do to the V6, it ain't a V8 and I swear even the guys working on the cars turned their heads when Bill fired up his car to leave. I just can't imagine that even blown they'll sound that good
Which is even cooler 'cause I finally bit the bullet and am gonna go O/R H-Pipe, Thanks Tom !
Leo, Leo, Leo... you fell for that trick. Bill played you like a fiddle. Now next time show him what the races have done to your reaction times and grill him on the light
(not that I'm trying to condone street racing.... )

Now if they would only do the same thing on a fuel car, i'd be in awe. But for a TAD I'll take it for what it is. One of my favorites of all time was the one driven by Rick Santos... a SB Chevy blown, of course, VS all the Hemis.. that was fun to watch. If I remember right there were a couple TAFCs running BOSS 429 motors, forget who though. No matter what I always rooted for the Ford powered cars. I think I have old 35mm pics around somewhere.
Bill, great pics as usual

Thanks to mikes rx, I just ordered the Aeroform Sports Bar. Watch out, Chuck!
They just added a few more specials on eBay:

Can you believe that's the same item as this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2005-...spagenameZWD1V
That's a $136.35 savings! I'll call on Monday to ask if they can ship it quickly so I'll have it in time for the FFW. Kinda hard to ask for expedited shipping when it's free, though. I'm sure if they ship it Monday or Tuesday, I'll have it Friday from MO.

Well, I'm finally chiming in to this thread, thanks to 89Trooper. I've noticed that it's here, but have never actually "looked into" the thread because of the 317 pages of posts.
I guess this is just a "diary" of what goes on. so, I'll start chiming in if interesting things happen to me.
Unfortunately, that will mean that I will spend even more time on this forum
