According to them...

5+ years.
Well, 18 years is 5+. Or, we would have to apply it every 3 months instead of every 9 months.

Guess I'll try it, too... but nothing really seems to make the white any deeper.

This is true about white. It's just one of those colors that looks 'clean' (when clean) at best.

However, a white Lambo I saw at the LA Autoshow really exhibited a deep gloss in the paint... could've been the Model though.

The lights kinda help with that deep gloss look, too.

Yeah, I'm not sure how it'll look outside in the natural sunlight.

Has anyone used the Griots stuff ?? They put out a real nice catalog. I love the Zaino stuff and need to buy some more Z-6 and Car wash but looking at the Griots I thought I'd ask before I bought anything

http://www.griotsgarage.com/index.jsp

They can be more expensive than Zaino but some of the stuff is priced competitively.

Never heard of them before.

If I didn't use Zaino, I'd probably be using Adam's.. it's good stuff too.

Pretty cool... I would want them in black, not white, I would think.

And as far as the battery cover goes, I don't need/want one of those any more.

I was kinda serious, but not too serious.

Maybe one day, someone will develop a cool Auto shifter for you guys.

Yes, I saw that thread on the radiator cover thread earlier. Why couldn't they use the same plastic color as the factory center one? If painted, it wouldn't matter. But, for those who don't, the color mismatch is too obvious.

Oooh... someone having a hissy fit?

j/k.. I know what you mean. You got the Optima in now and it makes no sense throwing a cover over it.

I changed my mind... now I think I would want white instead of black.

Exacto-mundo. You can't cover up a $150+ battery!

The mismatch on the black plastic doesn't bother you?

Also, I'm curious if the cover will interfere with the K&N cone filter.
