Hey, Bill, Leo, Rayman...

have you seen the thread about the OC Cruise that's being put together on another forum ?? They're meeting at the Saleen store in Irvine, with test drive available and other stuff from Saleen, and I think going over Ortega. There is 40+ 'stangs signed up and so far it looks pretty cool. It's Feb 17th. Mostly 05+ Mustangs and a couple others thrown in

Anyway, I'm going and I thought I'd see if you guys were going too.

Thanks Brian! I'll have to check my schedules, but I would live to go. I'm looking for some shows to take my car too in the near future.

Hey Bill... when's the next Ricky & Ronnie show?

Thanks guys. Brian as of right now it doesn't look like I'll be at that cruise.

I didn't even realize it but I made my 2,000 post yesterday.

You'll catch me soon... you are definitely a post girl of ill repute. Bill and Daryl will know where that comes from.

Leo, here is a good view of the gaps around my stripe that we were talking about on the phone. In the 1st pic you can see how the gap got too close to the one corner when they installed it, and in the 2nd picture you can see how it looks now after I trimmed it on the car. It's hard to see that all the gaps are the same because of the thickness of the trim ring, so the 3rd pic is from behind the car zoomed into the hood as straight on as I could get (it still looks like it's closer in the front, but that's because the hood is on an angle).

Attachment 17912 Attachment 17913 Attachment 17914

My goal was for EVERY gap - between the fat stripe and the thin stripe, between the stripes and the trim ring, and between the stripes and the edge of the hood - to be identical.

Looks good. Thanks for the pics. What I would like is for the back end of the stripe to end before the washer nozzles's and have a curve to it instead of a straight line.

Then order the stripe kit for the 2003-04 Mach 1. The front piece will still look good (that's what I had on first) and it will still contour the shaker trim ring good enough. The back piece will be smaller with a curve inward toward the shaker scoop. It's a direct replacement for those cars, so it will look like this:

That's too bad. It looks, so far, like it'll be fun. I figured that it wouldn't hurt to ask, ya know.

Congrats on the 2K. Geez that's alot of posts. I think I'm barely over 200 if that
