So guys are we thinking of a cruise on the 12th? If so who can go, are any of you doing Jason cruise w/ 281? That's coming up also. I started my car up yesterday it sounded good it's been over three weeks since last fire up. I need to hear the WoooooooooT again!
....
The 12th & 19th are out, the 26th is the next one before we get into the new year. If we are into the new year it's going to be late Jan before I can be part of a cruise.

no-show

Looks like the ROUSH will go under the knife with Eric Voss on the 16th of January. December is nuts to try to schedule anything you know the holidays are way more important than working. I'm taking an extended day off from Christmas and New Years weekends those following Mondays. I guess we can chat more when we can do a cruise.

Not to be a 1upper but I just scored this sweet Garmin unit for the wife. Yeah it's $70 more than what you guys paid but it has "lane assist" and Bluetooth. Best of all I now have a UPS tracking #.

I saw that model being sold on a "Cyber Monday" sale looks like a great unit. My original Garmin set me back @ $499.99 when they first came out. Dang electronics! I think I need to do a firmware update and I hope some of those new features come it.

I was going to get the one you and Bill bought but after a little searching that one came up so I jumped on it. Now I'll just turn around and sell the old Garmin and Blue Ant ST3 unit. Should be able to get around $80 for both items.

I doubt the firmware will add any features. Probably just works out any bugs in the software. Why not just return and get the 765T model? What's another $70 for BIG BALLER JED?

The Toyota nav has 'lane assist', but it's a pita to program and use.

I do like the 3D building modeling.

Are you talking about the entire GPS program?

Yes, the Toyoya/Lexus interface is a royal pita to navigate, way too many buttons and screens to go through just to enter an address and start navigating.

Besides, once the car's in motion, none of the programming features work! I know it's for driver's safety, but what if you have a co-pilot to enter the info??

One good thing I have to say is when I was in downtown San Fran, my Garmin lost reception from the high buildings, but the Toy navi was at full strength.
