That's cool, just throwing it out there so you don't tell us all later, "Why didn't you guys tell me about the Prothanes?".

Thats cool...thanks.....I've heard you guys talking about them, but never heard why. I just assumed they were stiffer mounts.

As long as the rubber ones don't break I'm good with them. This is less of an issue with the automatic since I don't shock the mounts as much as a stick would.
I have to drive this thing everyday and a little less interior noise is good with me.

I have had the prothanes on mine now for at least 10K, NVH hasn't increased enough to notice. Take 'em or leave 'em don't see benefit enough to say, WOW I'm glad I did that.

I wish that was me in that gif. Hell I wish I had 1/2 as much money to throw at the car as the one in the gif

Sal since your motor is out what about installing a K-Member it's easy in your case. You just need to make sure they will not interfere with your shorty headers.

I'm sure Chevy Killer's situation looks more glamorous than we all really know. I'm sure he's gone and going through all kinds headaches like we have X10, he just doesn't talk about it. I don't want to be a slave to a car working on it every weekend no thanks. I'd rather have good performance machine trouble free. But that's just me. I still think there's a distinct line between a performance street car and a true drag beast. To think you can have both you're living in a dream world IMO.

I think the K-member is a bigger deal for Long Tubes rather than shorties.

Specifically it's either the JBA or MAC LTs that have an issue with the BMR K-member.....but I could be wrong.

Call it what you want but it's actually pretty accurate. Take a look at a few 1/4 mile time slips and you'll see there 1/8 to 1/4 mile times are pretty inline with the conversion charts. Just saying.

Your status still shows the free acct status, not Team Mustang Source.
