I'm starting to look at the Vortech V-3 package from Brenspeed. Getting the $3799 upgraded to polished and then in the future upgrading to the intercooled kit. So I am curious why if you had it to do over again you'd pick the Paxton over the Vortech. What is the difference or benefit that you see?
Can anyone chime in on the pros/cons of the Vortech and the Paxton Novi? What distinguishes each?

Adam will have the SC off his car on Wednesday and then I can take my car in and drop it off anytime after. That's my dilemma, I have to drop it off for 2 to 4 days and I don't have a ride home. Any volunteers? I'll have to call ST tomorrow and see if I can do it next Monday.
It's my opinion as well as Greg's that the Brenspeed tune is an agressive tune. Meaning that all of your ducks better be in a row and singing to the same tune (if you catch my dift).
Timing makes or breaks dyno numbers on a boosted motor (given a set boost psi and fuel delivery). More timing will yield higher numbers, while less timing gives higher reliability.
No matter what, any tune should be verified on a dyno before deemed a keeper.
Again, just my measly $.02, YMMV.

Gary - I would rather be safe than sorry in this situation. Spend a little more to have the piece of mind. Getting blowned is a whole new ball game that should not be taken lightly. If it's going to get done, it should get done right. That's my two cents.
