Don't get me wrong, the quality of paint (from the pic) looked great and his engine bay looked clean. BUT, I prefer the black, chrome, polished stuff in the engine bay. The painted shroud seemed to monopolize the entire compartment.

I am all for the painted strut tower covers though!

I just noticed this on your sig.
Mike had those on his car for a little bit and they really sounded good. Very close to the Flowmasters. But, he then bought Borla's, so I have to sell the Summit Racing exhaust.

Do you have an eBay account? After I put mine on, if you give me your password I'll set up the whole thing on eBay for you. Then you'll get the emails to set up pick-up or delivery.

Yeah, someone had to put that treehugger in his place! He should be on the hybrid/electric car forum, not post in the MUSTANG GT PERFORMANCE thread... crazy!

About the spray I was just wondering. I've never seen anything like that.

Yes, he saw your videos many many times. I would have gotten them, too, remember? I was just afraid it would be too loud without a roof.

So let's see, I heard Bullitt and Mach 1 for the new Mustang. My guess is a Boss.

The e-mail states an "all new style". I hope it's not a body change already!

The QM is sold out for spaces (350 entries), so I don't think it's a ploy to attract people. In fact, it's not mentioned anywhere on the website, except by e-mail to members.

I guess we'll see in a few days. And, I'm sure other TMS members here will see it on Sunday, so we'll see posts on it.

HMMM... Just had a light bulb go off in my head. Hear me out. What if instead of using the 281 emblems I ordered I get custom vinyl 281 numbers????

New body style change will be in 2009. And I really don't think Mach 1...

Not a bad idea. You could make them a tad smaller so they are the right proportion (sorry, Bill)... and they would conform to the curves perfectly.

Yup, I remember now. The Flows sound great, as do the Corsas, Magnaflows, JBAs, MACs, Hookers, etc... they're all good, just boils down to personal taste. My taste happens to be loud!

Turn off that light bulb...

The shaker scoop surface is too rough for a vinyl decal, it won't stick or last.

I think you were thinking about that 281 decal set on a smooth painted hood scoop.

Tom, what's your take?

Nope the pic I saw was of some guy who put white vinly letters that spelled out "shaker" On his scoop. The "shaker" lettering idea was :gay: . But it shows that it's possible.

FOUND IT!!!!!

They might stick... I can try some pinstriping I have laying around. If you get it to work, I would consider it. That "shaker" on the shaker is kinda gay. Geez, he has it under the GT, too.
