Makes you wish you would've ordered it 2 days earlier, huh?

in a compeletly unrealted topic....
I'm getting a set of side skirts from another tms member. He has a black stang so they're painted. I got them figuring I clean up mine and those and depending which one's look better I could keep them around and only use them for shows. I figured for $40 plus shipping its an investment on a part that I would say takes the biggest beating next to the front bumper on a daily driver.

Going crazy waiting for next Saturday already. Can't wait to hear the thunderous roar of my exhaust after the O/R H-pipe install. I think I'm going to Del Amo mall or the Galleria mall after the install to set off some car alarms.
If only I had ordered a day sooner.

You may as well put your order in with Doug this morning so you can have it by the weekend. Just have the following info handy; trans type, 4 digit calibration code, tire size, Axle code or gear ratio (see sticker on rear differential housing), and mod list (for you, K&N CAI and O/R H). All that's left is to figure out what tunes you want.
I'd recommend calling the order in straight through Doug, that way you'll know if it's in stock and have any questions answered. I think it's a 4 day delivery.

I just read in another thread that Doug won't be back (home?) until Wednesday. So that means Leo is out of luck for getting his tune by the weekend.

Bill- I was already a step ahead and was planning to order my tuner today. I guess I'll just go ahead and wait untill the middle of next week now. Last time I spoke with him he said he's getting the tuner only orders out within the same day. He said the only thing that slows down his orders is when he has to wait around for the various intakes he sells to come in.
Tom-I'd say let's see who get's their tune first but even if I get mine first your the real winner considering it might cost you between $0-200. I guess it pays to have ebay ad posting skills.

Looks like your H will delivered today. Too bad it has to sit in the garage til the weekend.
btw- I'll find out what the total width of the OEM H is, so you can see if it'll fit into the trunk area.

Can't hurt to give Doug a call today... you never know.
Keep poking I just might cave in and call.

Once again if only I'd ordered a day sooner or in person and asked them to ship it that same day.

TKS but don't worry if it doesn't fit I'll just go back and pick-up my inlaws truck. It's only a 10 minute drive. BTW do you know the width or widths of the pipes where the clamp goes? I was reading some of your threads about it last night and I was debating picking up a better clamp before I head down there. Probably like the one Don W posted.

Questions about the O/R H
How's it sound at cruising speed?
Did you have to adjust your exhuast tips after the install?

Here's a short video of the first test drive with the O/R H. We kept it mellow and as you can hear, it's not too bad at all.
When I reconnected the mid-pipe clamps, everything lined up like it was before. If your tips are a little off now, we can correct it at the time we put the mid-pipe clamps back on.

Tom- fixed.
Bill-Tks for the measurements. I'll see if I can find a better clamp before Saturday.
Decided that I'm getting the smoked overlays for my turn signals and rear side markers instead of switching them out for the clears. I think the clears look to out of place on a black car. I'm getting my overlays from TMS member bluebatmobile who's here in San Diego.
