That's OK. He can stir it up all he wants. But don't act like your some kind of angel there Bill
You're the wild card, you're blown and Forged. Heads above us that's for sure. Even if you aren't 'cooled.
So not sure how everyone's day has been, mine was great. I got an un-expected raise today. 1.50 an hour extra. Not too bad hopefully it gets me what I want to get done before the end of the year !!!! So I think I'm gonna have to celebrate with a beer(s) of some sort tonight

Just got back from the track with a new best. 8.89 I was aiming for 9's... this will more than do
Still very inconsistent. I was all over the place. Next time I go run though, I'll be getting a little more serious i.e. lower the psi, remove the front sway, mess with the shocks/struts. Any advice on what I can tweak? Fix?
Lots of fun today. I'm going early from now on. I had about 10 runs today.

Congrats on your new time Luis!
10 runs sounds way better than the 2 or 3 you've been getting.

It would really help too next time Leo gets a wild-hair and wants to do a 7 hour mod-job.... magichands would be grateful I'd imagine.
So----uh----- Bill, what's the status ? Anything from the dealer yet ?

Anyway. Huge Congrats on the time that kicks a$$.
tips from what I understand.
Lower the psi down to about 15-16, raise the psi 1 lb per run until your 60' times increase then back down one. It's really hard to do unless you have a portable tank (thinking about getting one myself.)
Shocks, HARD front soft rear. Both extremes. The soft shock will keep the rear from hopping and the hard up front will help to transfer the weight to the rear. Removing the front sway will help alot too. The biggest single thing you can do is get DRs. Well that and a tune.

That's an awesome time Luis. Especially considering the only go mod you've got is an O/R H. I'm sure with the delete plates, UDP's and Intake/Tune you'll be running 8.6's if not better. What was your previous best time? Are you getting any wheel spin? Did you notice an improvement with the new tires?
So when are you going again?
So when are you going again?
I'm hoping for 8.6/8.7 with the new mods My previous best was a 9.2. I'm still spinning first and second gear. I'm pretty sure the tires helped get me to 8.89. Only thing different I did from last time was a little bit of wheel spin before I staged. My definition of wheel spin: Dump the clutch at 2k and gas it. Everything else left in street trim as usual. I spun a little longer the time I received the 8.89 so I'm led to believe these tires like to be warmed up a bit.
I'll be going next Thursday Down to go?
