I've got the Eibach. I'm already committed to anthracite as they'll be here Wednesday. Bill is looking into Bullit's though so that might peak his interest.

What will peak my interest is if RET gives me an updated status on my car.

As much as I love the Deep Dish Bullitt look the biggest disadvantage is that you won't be able to run any kind of bigger brake without some sort of spacer and even then it might be iffy.

Leo,
Can't wait to see the new shoes. How easy is it to spin the tires right now ?? (you have right ???? I would have)

I'd drive down there and start asking some questions if I were you.

I'll post some pics as soon as I get them on there. Yeah I knew that going in so I'm at peace with it. Make I should switch my C/T to "Brakes, I don't need no stinkin' brakes."

Yes Luis's tires have been abused like 5year old at Neverland Ranch.

C/T = Custom Title

Look under Leo, Bills or Tom281's name to see what we're talking about.

Well, seems as if 450/450 with a Spec 3+, M&H 325s, and an clutch dump at 4500rpm on a well prepped track with the traction control accidentally left on = toasted Steeda lower control arms LOL....

Gonna replace them this week, and also while I was under the car I went ahead and removed the factory upper control arm, gonna replace it too with an aftermarket unit.

oh crap. Sorry to hear that Tom. Was it the billet version ?

On the UCA are you replacing the mounting bracket or just the UCA itself ??

I currently have the blue chromoly Steedas. They've been great, I've had them for two years. I think it was a combo of daily abuse on the street, and then one stupid mistake at the track. Long story short, on Satuday I was at the strip; I have my traction control wired off a relay so that it turns off automatically when you start the car. So, it was off, but I stalled the car while attempting to do my burnout in 2nd gear (with the M&H's, there wasn't enough water in the box)..... so when I restarted the car, the TCS flashed back to "ON" and I'm so used to it turning OFF automatically, that I didn't even think about it being on. Upon launch, I heard such a loud CRACK! that I thought I snapped the driveshaft, literally.

As far as the UCA mount, I hadn't planned on replacing it..... don't know for sure if I will or not.

By the way Brian, your box is heading to you- it left today.

I would have been crapping my pants if I heard that at the track. Great news it was only a LCA... driveshaft or input shaft could have been much worse.

I'm wondering about the UCA and how much of a pain it is to do. The mount, I've read, you have to remove the gas tank and that has stopped me from putting mine on. Now that I have the M&Hs I am seriously considering installing it.

Besides can't be worse than Leo's headers, although I probably just jinxed myself.

Thanks Tom, I'll be on the lookout for it. Now all I got to do is get a Wideband and have 'em installed... Oh and the new raptor light too. It's only money, right ?

your C/T

I have the factory mount ready to come out, without touching the gas tank. There are two bolts from underneath, and a third that comes from under the rear seat and through the mount. I doubt that I replace the factory unit, it looks pretty strong.

Maybe..... no doubt between a couple of us here, if we pooled parts together we could build a new car.
