I think the hassle was swapping out the blue for the black. Either way, $100 isn't too bad for all those hoses. Hose Techniques would've been double that.

I missed the first delivery attempt Saturday an Fedex didn't work yesterday so I'll have to hope I catch them today. Worst case scenario I'll have to pick it up Wednesday.

SC Update....

Plugs and hoses will be here by Friday.

IC and GT500 fuel pump won't be here til late next week at best.

The more the merrier!

Matching hose kit - I agree if you're going to be showing what's under the hood everything has to match.

So Leo, you're going for that satin and polished look? OR did you order a satin IC?

I ordered the Satin IC so I guess the answer is Satin. Don't have the $$ to get it polished before install. Had I been purchasing a brand new system I'd of bought the polished version only because the satin finish looks ugly IMO. It's probably a good thing I'm getting the satin finish instead of the polished since it would end up looking like crap in my DD after a few months. I'm sure I won't care either way once I go WOT for the first time.

Satin will look fine as you don't have a lot of chrome going on in your engine bay right now. If you had, it may look a little out of place.

but I'm guessing the reason why you bought a supercharger is not to dress it up, but to take it down the track.

Tire/Rim size guru (89Trooper)

Can you safely put a 255 tire on a 10" wide rim?

My shop says polish holds the heat in whereas the satin doesn't since the pores in the metal are not polished. Might be better in the long run anyways.

Why would you want to run such a small tire on a 10" rim? I'm running 255 on a 9" rim up front and that's already small.

That sounds believable. See Bill your losing crazy HP by having a polished non-intercooled Vortech.

It's all part of one my crazy Ideas.

I read from another forum where some guy did a before/after temp comparison using a laser temp sensor on his intake manifold.

The difference between non-polished and poished yielded a whopping 1 degree in surface temperature difference.
