Another question(I'm just full of them). The GT500 brake kit, noticeable upgrade from stock? There's a guy Dex selling a few of this kits. I'm really tempted... Can't beat it for the price he's asking for. Or is it better to just save for a StopTech/Wilwood/AP brake system which is 3 to 4 times as much. Lol

Leo... how about them wheel spacers? I'd would need some to run this kit. 1" prolly (scary) till I could afford new rims...

Very tempting. I'm strongly considering it.

You should notice a difference in stopping power considering it's a bigger rotor and you'll be going from a two piston caliper to a four piston. Only negative is from a cosmetic standpoint because you'll have the nice Brembo caliper up front and the crappy stock one out back. That's the one thing keeping me from jumping in on that deal.

Nothing scary about it. I've been running 1" spacers for 6-7 months now with no problems. Do it.

Just called the guy. He's got somebody saying they're willing to buy but if it falls through I'm next in line. At that price it's really hard to pass up.

Surprised it only took 4 games to hear that one. Does this mean the heads of the idiot president, GM, and coach whose heads were far bigger than Rodger's experience on the field against the blitz, will be rolling?

Cowboys forgot to come out of the locker room. Where's the run boys. Don't try to get T.O. the ball if he can't catch it or get seperation from coverage. Throw it somewhere else. There's talent all over the field. So what if T.O. cries, he cries more than Andy Reid's belt each night.

Hi boys, I have been absent from this thread too LONG. I had been wanting to go back and catch up but I seem to get interupted everytime I get started. I plan on going back to page 1156 locking the door turn off the phone and get to work. From my last couple of attempts I remember Brian sold his wheels, Bill's gremlins returned, Sal was schooling us, Leo was adding spacers and read on this page that all is well, I saw Jed on our 281 charity event post, so that just leaves George "How are ya?"

My 2 cents... How much stopping power you need depends on what your plans are under the hood. If it is an awesome deal I say go for it. You can save the extra money for other mods later and if you don't like the GT500 system after you've ran with it for awhile sell it and move on. JUST MAKE SURE THE KIT BEING SOLD IS OEM AND NOT A COPY.

^true, make sure it's not a knockoff

the cowboys...idk what happened to them today, maybe they'll make the best of it though. My thoughts, I think they should try a no-huddle offense for a game, in the 4th quarter they were flat moving down the field with 15 yd passes and no-huddle, but once they started to let the Redskins huddle up and regroup, they were getting their butts kicked

I mean you can always upgrade the rear. For now I'd paint the rears black and call it aday. I sent him a PM if he had sets for sale. If he does I can see myself buying these and a paycheck or two later buying the spacers to install 1" should be sufficient... right? *I hope*

He says they're take off from GT500's. He's sold tons of these kits to other forum members, no negative feedback from what I can see. Seems like a legit deal/seller. I mean he's selling them for change really compaired to what other kits will cost.

This will help you get over Favre and a lost Packers season . Do it and don't look back.
BUT do the right thing and factor in the BAP(or gt500 system) and an intercooler. Save the motor.

If the deal works out I'll not doubt get the IC and BAP. Crossing fingers that other buyer backs out.

Advance notice

Going to the track at Qualcomm Friday the 17th. Socal guys (Brian/Luis) welcome to come down. I've got better a chance of getting a free supercharger than getting any of the other Socal guys to come down.
