lol, I dont know the actual terms, but i can use one
I'd love to have a really good camera, but I just dont see paying $2000 on a camera, that indeed takes better pictures than an excellent point and shoot, but unless you know your photography, i can't tell the difference

Thats very strange that you were able to do that with your manual, with mine as I described before the computer always recognized the neutral setting wether it was in gear or not, so if I set the neutral at 2k and the rev at 6k the limiter will always cut in at 2k regardless of what gear its in. That's why I thought that setting was meant for auto's only Maybe somethings wrong with mine.
Stop spending dough on brakes and sway bars and get a BLOWER.
Tom- I've also read stuff on MMR too, especially on MF. During my research, I decided to go with MMR mainly because they were recommended by Brenspeed. Funny thing is when I brought that fact up in MF, all of a sudden it was like, 'We respect Brenspeed's opinion.'.. Ha! The thing is, I just got a short block with name brand parts. All they did was assemble it, and balance was done at another shop.
And I'm in complete agreement, got to get it into the shop as soon as pocketbook possible.

No not at all, mine is an early '07. now you have me wondering if something is wrong with mine. The neutral safety switch works because it wont start unless I press the clutch so I know its not that. I don't know what other switches/sensors the computer would use to tell that its in gear?

Good question, I don't know. There's nothing on the shifter itself...

spacers will let you do the big brake kit... might have to investigate.
Nothing really to report other than I received my Helmet and Jacket last night. LIne locks should be here on the 11th.

OK, I'm not the only one. I knew that they'd hit the "spokes" but if that's the only obstacle I guess it'd work. Still not a fan of spacers.
My problem with most of the kits is that most are 2K + and while I like being able to stop I'm not so sure that dumping over 2 grand into a set of calipers and rotors are gonna make me feel all warm and fuzzy. 2 grand is 1/2 way to a build forged motor.

We're back to calling Brian 'Brain'.
... minus any head work.
Then you have the added cost of a new clutch and flywheel, and whatever else you want to do while the motor's apart.

Or, just have your stock engine disassembled, and replace the connecting rods and pistons........ reusing your crank, block, and heads. Then change pullies and run 15psi. You can do this for less than $2k.

Brakes & Sway bars are dead weight in my book.
Point is, if you're going to open her up, dive in with both feet. (old Chinese proverb )
btw Tom, love your new c/t.
Last words coming from a man as he hits a hair pin turn going a wee bit too fast.

Nah, stock block and crank is good for gobs of hp. Heads flow pretty well actually, throw in some cams and springs and they can suppport 600+hp and probably close to 7000rpm. Replacing everything is what people do when either 1) they've accidentally toasted their factory stuff or 2) they have too much money to spend LOL.
And yes, my new c/t rocks LOL.

Alas, it's true. Those who make toast and burn it, must get forged bread.
What can I say, I'm .
