I averaged just over 21 MPGs. That seems kind of low. Am I getting low mileage or is that just the way it is?

Wonder if he put lipstick on it and called it Sally or something

A table... WTF ??

If you ever get out here Scott, let us know !

Bill, fingers are crossed. Hope you get this thing going soon. It's been Waaay too long.

281Motorsports Saturday. Probably be like Leo and show up at 281 instead of C&C first.

Cool things are shaping up! Next question what's a good watering hole in Fullerton?

Maybe we should go here after the shows...

http://www.tapsbrea.com/

I think Habu will enjoy it or does it look to swanky?

Taps

There are three places I'd go to before Taps. Yard House and BJ's are right next to Taps, Hero's is closer to where we'll be. All are within 10 minutes, tops of each other.

1) Hero's 100+ beers on tap.
2) Yard House 200+ beers on tap about 500ft north of Taps
3) BJ's Brewery. I can't help it. I love the BJ's Blonde.

Pros
Heroes good, plenty of brew, local pub feel. Pretty good grub
Yard House, beer of every type for everyone and then some. Eye candy wasn't bad last I went
Bj's Blonde AND they have an impressive selection of Belgian beer. Food is A+ for me too

Cons
Heroes crowded quickly, service can suck at times
Yard House, artsy, fancy plates of food.
BJ's VERY LOUD. can get to that bowling place type LOUD.
Taps Beer mediocre at best. Food is just OK, nothing spectacular to write home about.

Either way any of these are WAY better than Taps IMO. I'll do Taps if that's everyone's choice.

yeah I know. I AM Picky, of that there is no doubt. However in this case, the establishment is what sucks. Food, beer, prices, everything.

tom281, Hey have you installed a air/oil separator ? I'm looking to do the moroso/Stef's unit and I kinda have an idea of what to get or do. The whole "an" 10 or 12 size thing confuses me though. That and looking in the engine bay I have NO idea where the heck to put this thing. There isn't much room on the drivers side anymore.

Pretty sure this is my next "mod" then gauges in the next couple of weeks. Probably order the SOS 2-gauge pillar pod this week.

And to answer your question from about 10-pages ago... NO I haven't taken it to the track yet since the Whipple has been put on. I'm taking baby-steps to insure that I get all my ducks in a row before I do. Probably overkill, but I'm hard headed.

Phil
Did I respond to your PM ?? I think I did but can't really remember to be honest. I'd blame it on the vacation beer/margarita haze but then not sure anyone would believe me, no pics...

Nice beer conversations, and Ian, that beach looks amazing!

But.. here comes the Taco party pooper...
No more MMR updates, I'm sick of it all.

Long story short, they found 2 pistons that the coating has started to flake off, obviously from a bad prep or contamination. They were going to send the 2 bad ones to a different coater, but I told them to send all 8.. duh! They were all coated at the same time, so the whole batch has been compromised.

At this point, I'm not making anymore pipedream dates on when it'll be ready.
