Ponies on The Run (Again)

I used to watch it when it first hit the big time back in the early-mid 90s..... when the Gracie family ruled and Hoyce Gracie (sp?) was like 150lbs and couldn't be beaten by dudes 2x his size- that was entertaining.
This is why I enrolled Chris in Gracie Jiu-Jitsu.. they own the ground game.
Quick example of the effectiveness between size vs technique.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pJXt4O3bIHc
btw, you were close.. Royce (all the R's pronounced as a H).

Shout out to our Service Vet's!
Just got back from Arizona drving 6 hours non stop makes you think about life. As I drove toward the city of Quartzite there sit's a flag in the middle of the desert. It brought out memories of the friends I know that were in the service like PJ George, K-memba Charlie and Carl. I'm sure there are many more TMS members that were or are currently in the service.
Just want to say thank you for the service to your country.
While searching for a picture to post for this special day I came across this one; I think it say's it all. I know this image is in our minds on a day like this...Happy Memorial Day!

Happy Memorial Day everyone!
Wiped down the car yesterday, installed the tire inflator, and put on the s/c emblems. I removed most of the cosmetic off from the engine bay just to make their job a little easier.
I truely hope that this is the week that the transplant process goes down.

Hedge hog? Heck, I'd love to hog her hedge....
Got plenty of blue tape, just the point that when they see it, they'll know that I care about the car and will hopefully be careful when doing the work.
Burnt toast is my backup incase I get an aftershock in my stomach.

Question for you guys.
I use 91 octane gas to fill my 2005 GT and this Friday, right before a trip to San Diego, I fueled up just before making my way onto the on ramp to test my gas mileage.
I drove the 80 mile freeway trip averaging 80 MPH with the RPMs slightly over the 2K mark with cruise control on 90% of the time. If I needed to use the gas pedal, it was smooth and very consistent to try and be as efficient as possible.
I averaged just over 21 MPGs. That seems kind of low. Am I getting low mileage or is that just the way it is?
