Friend just sent me this link. How accurate is that info? Car looks great. Interesting model line-up. I'll be faster then the SS by the release though

V8 Camaro for close to $40k .

For those that can't cough up $40k, will have to settle for a 6 (no offense, just sayin' that the V8 customer won't be able to afford one).

Or a Mustang GT and a beater, so you don't have to drive the Mustang everyday.

I've been thinking of turning my Mustang into more of a daily driver, it gets about 19mpg city which is all I drive compared to about 11mpg in my truck. I have only 4,000 miles in 1 year. Will I regret putting the additional 12,000 miles I average each year in my truck?

I want to keep this car for a very long time and I will be going FI hopefully by the end of the year.

I wish I had less miles on it, but when I drive it I always take the long way. I'm like a kid getting his license and wanting to go get milk for the family. I'll run any errand as long as I don't have to park in parking lot that I can't see from inside or is more than 50 ft. away from me at any time.

I went to our little rural post office today and parked in the front spot, when I came out an elderly man in his 60's said I love your car. Really nicely done, its not over the top its perfect. I expected him to say hey whipper snapper your cars to loud or something. It was really cool. I always get a very positive response. Even the C6 Z06 drivers break their necks to see what the hell I'm driving.

Yah. I'm heading down that route. Has been on my mind since the day I got the car Only question left now is when. Eyes are set on the whipple (Gt500 pumps and OE look).

Sweet. I'm tinkering with the same idea and it too has always been in my mind since I got the car. Today at dinner I mentioned to the wife I need $6,000 for a supercharger, she didn't say anything so I said do you know what that is? She said something to make the car go faster. I said I can get better gas mileage too. I've got about $3,800 saved up in a safe place, I think I'll get $7k and then tell her if I can get a SC she can have a grand to buy some clothes. That might work.

Sounds like a master plan. I've got like 2k saved up right now. I can kinda pull the trigger through a loan right now but I'm being a wuss The need for a daily driver/work truck has risen. I'm trying to figure out the best possible choice. That and the thought of having that much money into a car that's not garaged has me holding off for a little. We'll see what POTR talks me into

I'm leaning Saleen. I really like all the Brenspeed products I've gotten and I really trust Brent. I know tom281 is happy. Nothing too much I don't want to go with the whole forged internals for quite a while. I just want to make sure that some G8GT isn't faster than my car. It looks fast so, it should be fast.

Hey David you still out there? What do you think Brenspeed Saleen, Whipple, KB, or what? I've stayed away from UDP and CMDP's so I can get a twin screw style, just my preference.

You answered me before I could ask.

20,000 posts for POTR, well I know I'm not a regular but I'll try to wear the mantle with dignity and respect.

God save POTR.
