Best I can tell its an early sn95 (94-98) Cobra. It still had cats on it. The tires on the rear are not fat at all, in fact they look to be 235s or 255s at most. I'm thinking maybe it was a vert.

Don't watch the local new much so it's the first I've heard of it. That's insane. It's only like 10 minutes from my place.

-----------------

In Mustang news for those of you still not on Facebook.
My car was broken into while in the parking lot at work. The smashed my passenger side window and tore up the center console. Luckily they were either to stupid or just ran out of time and didn't get the stereo. This happened yesterday morning. I've got the car back now. Just waiting on the sail panels and center console trim from Ford. Plus I need to get my window re tinted. Sucks that I had to spend $500 (my deductible) but atleast the Mamba denied those bastards the radio.

Pics are on Facebook. Join and friend me request me to see.

Those A holes. I've gone through that two times already, an it sucks every time. I've lost one HU the last time, and a complete sound system w a Craftsman toolbox the first time.
BTW I have FB

I could only imagine what Leo would of done if he would of caught the thief.
My neighbors friend (former college lineman football player)was visiting him and caught some thief red handed breaking his ignition. ..lets just the thief was taken away in an ambulance

My X and sone were moving some stuff Wed & stopped at a bust lot to go to a REd Robbin came out and everything was gone.

Some wierdness going in with the car...

Since changing out my battery, a few things are out of whack, but none affect drivability.
  • Low fuel warning, shows 0 miles to empty
  • Low brake fluid warning (though I'm above the min)
  • TC light on in dash (TC button shows 'OFF', can't turn on)
  • E-brake light on in dash
  • No seatbelt warning light
I reloaded the tune today, and it seemed to have fixed the low fuel problem. The rest still exists.

I wonder if it's one of those 'drive 50 miles' to reset everything.

I disconnected the battery for 10+ minutes, no go.

To top it off, I'm starting to hear that small rattle somewhere under the car.

The life of a modded car.

I've got a rattle too. At first I thought it was the exhaust, but the whole thing is tight. Now I'm wondering if it's similiar to yours.

Trying to track down little sounds is a PITA. It's much easier if something just breaks.

As for your issue, sorry, have no idea what it could be.

Looks like your going about it in a logical manner through process of elimination. From the video I couldn't ready figure out what or where the sound was coming from. Have you tried to use one of those mechanics stethoscopes, maybe that will help narrow it down? Sounds travel in a weird way sometimes what you think it is it turns out to be something else. Have you though about placing your car on a dyno to help simulate some load and also simulate a driving condition where you can narrow it down.

Jed the sound is coming rather from that bell looking side of transmission where is a clutch and I can clearly hear that when I am sitting in a car and wheels are spinning on jack stands at 3rd gear. but when car is on road I can not hear anything like that so when load is on wheels it do not happen.

I think as Bill advise I have to wait till something will broken down as it can be now everything and a cost of taking out the transmission to see inside just to see is too big.

I will speak with some guy tomorrow who is quite clever mechanic so maybe he will suggest something.
