I was just curious on price

It looks good; gives it a real dragster feel to it. It'll look good with the Steeda springs in place.

yeah... I don't think 295s are gonna make enough of a difference

My initial thought on seeing the black car and the white one

Thanks for the link

Initial check on clutch, using the clutch that ST recommends 650 for the kit and it's a "standard" clutch.

And that's not even including the labor.

I think it looks more business. I saw Mark's car up close with the larger sidewall DR's and it jut screams 'Race Me!'

I spoke to Adam about his clutch recommendations and it's $$$$! Heavy heavy duty I'm sure, but at a heavy heavy price.

I'd say get a CF, Spec 3 or Macloud (sp?) and be done with it. One thing will be for sure, any of them will be better than stock.

I think my CF DF was around $225.

I am still curious how many miles you have gone.
How many since the blower?
How many total?
Thanks.

Well after I dropped a brick looking up the price I am open to anything, well almost, else. ST is actually closed today, Tue-Sat new operating days, except John was in trying to get Ray's car done. Adam should call me tomorrow and I should have a better idea how much this is going to hurt.

Questions about the spec 3... .DD use ?? how is it compared to stock driving around town, which will be about 90% of what I use the car for. The same goes for durability. Yeah I want something that will hook but if it's gonna last 10-15k miles I'd rather not, ya know ?

The McLoed looks good too, but I don't know about them. on Modfords there is a whole **** fest over the RAM twin disc and I can't remember if they're actually the same company or not.

Either way this kills the ice-box and even DRs for me, **** you Leo , for now.

22,500-ish total miles.
8,000-ish since the blower

I haven't been easy on it either. Doing the donuts and all the burnouts pre-blower didn't help. Now I've got it to hook with the DRs and the blower making much more power, something had to give I guess.

Spec 3+ with factory TOB is very easy pedal feel. After Brenspeed got my blower, etc. off the car they also removed the Ram TOB and replaced it with a new stock unit. Mind you I had never driven it with the Spec and stock TOB...... man I could NOT believe the difference. The pedal was so, so much easier I swear it was incredible. I couldn't be much heavier than stock if any at all. The only difference was that it is pretty on/off, I killed it pulling out of their lot (in the snow, which didn't help but still.......) but I was used to it after just an hour drive home. Any performance clutch is going to be pretty on/off. As far as mileage durability, I couldn't say.

The DF has a slightly heavier pedal feel compared to stock. I think it's just fine for a DD. If you've ever driven an early 911, it's no where near as heavy as that.

On/Off.. Engagement starts at around 2" from full in and feels off no more than 1.5" past that.
(I drove it in this morning to work so my memory's fresh. )

Maybe Leo can chime in on this too as he drove mine and Jed's back-to-back.

That MJ clip is down right scary.

OK then with that said the difference between the stock clutch and Bills is huge. The stock clutch feels like a feather as where Bill's clutch will probably give you a toned calf in a few weeks.

Well there you go! I've had so little saddle time in 08, guess I forgot what the stocker felt like.
