This is a hard one to answer. The SuperShaker is obvious, but was not an option back in Feb last year.
If I could turn back the clock, I think I would've went with the polished Paxton/Novi with I/C. The only reason not a TS is purely cosmetic because I wanted to keep my shaker scoop at all costs.
That scoop is my car's personality and I don't think I would get rid of it even today.
For the labor part, I would've went with RET for the whole thing from the start.
Oh how I would've altered the course of history had I did the above.

Can anyone chime in on the pros/cons of the Vortech and the Paxton Novi? What distinguishes each?

I'm starting to look at the Vortech V-3 package from Brenspeed. Getting the $3799 upgraded to polished and then in the future upgrading to the intercooled kit. So I am curious why if you had it to do over again you'd pick the Paxton over the Vortech. What is the difference or benefit that you see?

Here is my dilemna. And again I trust all of your opinions immensely.
My original thought was to go with the base kit. And price is a factor unfortunately. I can eventually get what I want in stages passed the wife, but the big $6k-$7k lump sum is a . If I wait for that it will never happen. Now I know I should grow a pair and all that but the little wife is well...lets just say I married up. So I like being and remaining married and not paying alimony and child support on 5 kids.
So what I was thinking and by no means decided on because I have bounced all over on SC brands, is that I could install the Vortech kit here. I'm actually pretty confident I can do it. Now I know the tune is the thing, it must be dyno tuned, however I live in nowhere Texas. There is nothing here. I'm going to have to make the trip to Houston to get the car tuned. I am sure I can find a shop there and get recommendations from some of the Texas Mustang Forums or from the Texas members here. There I can get everything checked out and so forth, tuned, etc.
Thoughts?
Or am I just ?

the install doesnt look thaaaat bad, but you'll need the tune before you drive anywhere, if nothing else, but to get you there. the TB is a testament to what happens with a supercharger setup if not perfectly right.
Can't Brents tune get me there as long as I don't wander into boost land?
I mean alot of people buy these kits and install and never get a dyno tune. I'm not saying I won' get one, but I can limp up to Houston and get my custom tune then.

maybe run it on Rocket fuel to get her there ?
Well Seth says I can run on the tune without a problem that their tunes are spot on. But I don't see how that can be without taking my exact car and putting it on a dyno. Given the oppurtunity I'd take it to Brenspeed or Tillman or the two shops in LA but I just can't get there.

Adam will have the SC off his car on Wednesday and then I can take my car in and drop it off anytime after. That's my dilemma, I have to drop it off for 2 to 4 days and I don't have a ride home. Any volunteers? I'll have to call ST tomorrow and see if I can do it next Monday.
Hey Brian, did you call ST and talk with them? Adam said that someone called and spoke about the swap.
