Does that make Brian your daddy?
Not over yet b*tches.
So I had to email this pic into my Ford dealer as know one knew what the hell they are for ? one idea was if shipped by train part of a securing system to hold her down to get rapped. So he'll check & get back on it !

Sounds like a reasonable explanation. That would explain why most cars don't have it.
^ Oh, those blocks.. I say NVH.
That sucks Koji. Ever think about getting a beater daily driver?

on the beater front... hear me out.
Found a '70 T-Bird with a 429 $800 bucks... keep the engine sell the Tbird. Tbirds always had a Hi-Po engine and the 429 in 70 is the high compression version with a closed combustion chamber.... Sell what's left of the T-Bird for parts.
Also found a 68 F250 for 1000.... Take the 429 put into the F250.... Proceed to Hot-rod that Big Block up... one bad-assed truck. No smog, no worries. Hell you could stand in the engine compartment to work on it if you had to.
1800 bucks, lots o' fun. Rain wouldn't be a problem.
IF I had the 1800 bucks I would have bought it all last night.

That's another reason I'm considering a CS front end again....I like my CDC but I've always loved the CS front.....

I don't think going to the CS front bumper will solve your problems. Reason being the CS bumper still sit's lower than the stock GT bumper. Is it the same as the CDC chin? I'm not sure but I willing to bet it's pretty close.

1800 bucks? That's more than halfway towards forged internals. That's why I'm trying to keep my secondary mode of transportation as cheap as possible.

The biggie for me is the rock pits... No so much the rain or normal driving. The difference is a good third of the CS bumper is not painted but flat black... much easier to hide/disguise them

yeah... I know it is. So the decision is hard to make. I want both can afford one and the other one I hope to afford this year before anything happens.
