While we are waiting...I have some good news! I jumped on the 'cooled Vortech from 91svtcoupe here on the TMS forums. It was a deal I couldn't resist. I was debating on the non-cooled V3 from Brenspeed, but for a hundred or two more I have a basically brand new 'cooled blower!
Got a call from John at ST while in class today. SC is in, Gauges are in, KB BAP is in. No problems so far. Only thing left is for Adam to tune it first thing tomorrow morning. Assuming all goes well I should have the car back by 12ish.
Looks like my gripes about getting a used kit were a bit more dramatic than necessary. While the injectors and some hoses, clamps etc were missing. In the end it only cost me a set of plugs and $60 for the misc stuff. With that said the original seller is sending me a set of 39# injectors that I'll be able to sell and recoup most of the money. So it's ok to buy used just be extra careful.

As to be expected things aren't going according to plan. At first start they discovered a fuel leak coming from the spot on the fuel rail where they welded the bung for the fuel pressure gauge. That should a simple fix but they told me they'd call me and let me know once they're on the dyno so I can head over their way.
Jon-Are you disappointed with your Vortech? Reason I ask was because I saw you voted "Leo will be think what a waste" on Bill's thread.

Man, the stock fuel rail is thin metal. I explored that option for my sensor, but decided against it.
I hope they weld it right and account for the Shaker shroud.

I love the whistle this thing makes at idle. Its so subtle and awesome. Its not like a procharger, loud and obnoxious(no offense to anyone who has one). Just not my cup of tea. This is actually one of the reasons I even wanted a centri s/c to begin with. Lol, sounds silly but its true.
For what I paid for the kit I'm really pleased with the results.
I'll be honest, if I could have afforded a TS or turbo system I prolly wold have gone that road. But the extra $$$ was out of the question.
My entire system new, polished , i/c, diablo mafia, ht0 plugs, black silicone hose connections etc... ran me ~4k. A TS/turbo was another +2k. Anyways, for a 20yr old college student I think I', doing just fine. Haha.

Any predictions on Leo's rwhp?
I'll guess right around Jon's... 425 rwhp.
