Jed I like it plain myself. Of course I'm running the bullitt grill with no front emblems. Personally I like it that way. I would reserve judgement like you say till you get it out on the street, take some photos outdoors from different angles and that should help make up your mind.

I do really love your car though. Wow. I'd love to see more pics of interior to see what you've done. But I really mean it, that engine bay absolutely kicks *** You've got the looks and the power going on in there. Unfortunately I don't have either yet, but I'm working on it.

Usually I use Adam's butter wax. Last weekend I tried polishing and waxing using the Porter Cable buffer sold by Adam's with their attachments. They also make a special "machine" polish and wax. So I tried this method last Saturday night prior to the Mustang Madness show. The results were noticeable; you shouldn't machine polish all the time but you can apply wax that way. It was so easy and fast, I hardly broke a sweat. I used a thick Adam's micro fiber towel to buff off the wax after it dried.

Thanks again Gary! Compliments from a fellow Stanger means alot to me . Hey what's nice about waiting is that Power Adders get better and cheaper all the time. On top of that they sometimes qualify for a factory warranty! In due time I'm sure.

Hummm

Jed
I like the idea of a Roush emblem in the corner. Hm...

The grill looks great Jed. Didn't know the car could look any better

Okay it's 8:33 p.m. on the left coast, it's a wet evening in SoCal so I'm going to make myself on one these.

The famous Buena Vista Irish Coffee!

Do you really have to pre-heat the glass?

+1 Jed, Looks great.

You gotta show me how to do the whole porter cable thing. We talked about it and I'm still apprehensive 'cause I don't want to burn the paint. Still I have the spiderwebs and if it will help then I really ought to do it.

Did Randall cut you a break on the price ?

Leo, send me the link to the vendor.

is right!

Forget what eastcoster Tom says, 500 rwhp on stock internals spells disaster IMHO.

Good move on stepping down to the 3.4.

Looks menacing Jed! I've seen several guys running the billet style grilles spray paint everything behind it flat black, as all that silver takes away from the black. You thought about doing this?

Get the Purina Cat Chow emblem!

Hahah that's funny! I think for home use you can bypass that step. The step of pre-heating the glass is a bartending technique to keep the drink hot during transit to the patron. That patron being me!

Meow meow! I thought about spraying the innards but I don't want to make the air conditioning condenser any less effective. That might be at the cost of looks but I kind of like to see the raw hardware inside. Later when I get it on the street in the daytime I'll have a better idea.

Jed

Here an Ani of the Roush emblem...

It needed it! It's pretty much back to the way it looked back in the day.

Things I noticed..
Getting an exhaust rattle on the rear drivers side when first started (cold). I knew exactly where to check and yup, it's the Stinger hanger rod hitting the frame. When they installed my new H, the rear midpipes weren't pushed forward enough. Easy fix, but was too lazy to do it today.

Getting a little hiccup when the motor is warming up when the rpm's go up. I'll ask Greg about this, but I have a feeling it's the base tune as it feels 'unrefined' through the power band.

So yeah, spent around 3-4 hours cleaning and tinkering with the car.. it felt good!

Prepping for wash

Zaino beads baby!

after a some TLC

I'll summerize...

Finally Bill, your car! Tom those are some sick numbers, wow. Jed the car looks great. The grill really sets off the entire theme and the canton tank really fits nicely. Now to get the matching billet cap set! Haha
