Good to hear the Mustang is back in your hands. Sorry to hear the AC and dealer issues though. Least the worst is behind you

It helps the world be greener. Us Floridians don't do much to help the environment. Good thing you "west coaster's" are doing your part

I really did know that... was just giving the "west coasters" a hard time. I was hoping somebody was going to mention emissions. Then I was going to reply with, What are emissions?

Thanks for the comments guys!

As mad as I was recently, I do feel a bit better having the TR back in my hands.

I just want to plug RET by saying that Greg really goes out of his way to make sure everything is as good as he can do and makes sure you're satisfied. It's good to hear from him telling me that if any issues arise, to call him on his cell. Most shops don't want to hear of any problems unless its during business hours.

There are some very minor issues with the cosmetic side of the install, but I'll work on that myself tomorrow.

Also, I think my narrowband O2 sensor went south. Figures as the 2 upstream sensors went bad from oil and or super rich condition. I told Greg that I may be interested in upgrading that 'idiot light' gauge to a wideband like Jed's and Leo's.
(btw Leo, did your wideband gauge come with an O2 sensor?)

Forgot to mention, I have the new 2-pc Pypes O/R-H now. Greg accidentally went high center over a ramp and dinged my midpipe. Muffler guy said he can form the dent out, but Greg ordered and installed a new H-pipe instead.

pics...
Greg doing some datalogging and adjusting the fuel tables before me taking it

Good to hear. It's back home where it belongs and that's the best thing yet. The long haul is over, it's all gravy from here.

BTW the 6178 A/F(cobalt) includes the O2, I would imagine the comp one does too

I noticed something...

.. my exhaust tone seemed to have changed. I know it's not the placebo effect because for a moment, I forgot that I got the shorty headers. It almost sounds like it's a bit quieter and some of the raspiness is gone, subtle but noticable.

I like the new tone!

I agree. There must be a difference in the exhaust note pulse traveling through equal length steel tubing versus a cast iron manifold.

Soooo many things change that note. Mine is TOTALLY different now, as you can imagine, having to run way to the front of the car first before traveling the length of the car to the tips!

^With your setup, it must have changed your tone dramatically.

Hey, did you ever post up a video/sound clip yet?

Been thinking a lot about that, lately... have to get out to a back road and make some videos with the new camera...
