Reducing your on ramp speed to 120 mph should save you a lot of gas Jed!

I like the George Lopez quote, I for one dont like those Prius' (at all), a friend of mine's parents drive one, and they are awful cheap feeling to me, but I spose I can make an exception for the jedster. Dont suppose you can supercharge it?

Kyle-Car's looking good.

Luis-I vote rear swaybar only or......Just save up and get the Watt's link and you get a rear swaybar and then some.

Jed-As much as you drive I agree you should get a prius. Just don't expect the Socal crew to roll with you. Or save yourself alot of $$$ and get a Geometro.

Way to go Kyle I really like the Bullitt grille. Sets the car apart.

Forget the pious, get a smart car....

As far as saving $$$$ I think my 2nd car as a DD went from a Old beat up F250 to a VW Bug !!! They can be had cheap here in So Cal and I know how to work on them like the back of my hand.

Leo - I checked mine out. It's still there.

Smart car = death car. One car accident and you're getting buried with it

Nice to see everyone back on Tms again

Jed
4.35?! I guess we are lucky to be at 3.89 at the local shell. I think the Prius would be the last gas sipper I would get. They cost more to begin with and the dealer can charge at least sticker on them because there's such a demand. Over the long run, I'm not sure you actually save. Something like a Focus can be had cheap and still gets pretty darn good mileage. Also, you aren't going to get much on the trade-in. Dealers don't want to take SUVs because they can't sell them and the resale prices have fallen through the floor. Trade-in value is almost non-existent.

Yeah, TMS has been acting funny lately. I hadn't noticed that, but I've had plenty of problems myself.

I thought the Smart car actually got like 5 star crash test ratings? They look like they would be death traps, but I'm not sure that's actually the case.

It cost me $80 to fill up my Explorer the other day. Fill ups happen about every 8 to 10 days. That means I'm spending almost $10 a day on gas and my work is only a 15 minute drive away!

Hey we look good rolling out of Cars & Coffee. We were behaved I thought that cop was out there again but he wasn't. We still need to do a parking structure shot of the SoCal group. We can hold on for TacoBill then let's do it.

My Prius post got allot of attention great! Hey maybe I should just by a rice bike like I had before

I confirmed with Roush and they will release the P-51's Short block very soon no pricing yet. I'm sure it will be at a premium price. I got a Livernois quote on a long block with Stage 1 heads and cam's it came to 12 G's yikes!

Also Kenne Bell has a Mammoth version Throttle body for my blower the 2.6L so that maybe a temptation down the road. But in actuality my current blower will get me to 700 HP with a pulley change and tune.

Nothing is constant but change!
