1. A/F ratio is 11.5 to 11.7 across the entire RPM range - very conservative.
2. Timing is extremely low - lower than stock even - very, very conservative.
3. Air discharge temps are very low. The advantage of an intercooler making it safer.
4. Turbos bring in the power and torque (the killer) nice and slow - very easy on the drivetrain. Look at my torque curve compared to Brian's.
5. I'm only running 8psi max right now.
6. I'm not racing it every other weekend pushing the car to it's limits.
Power and torque alone did not blow your engine. If it did, my engine would have blown sometime during it's 9 dyno runs that it experienced (6 without the charge motion plates opening and the first 2 with 14 psi of boost - that's 16 psi in S/C talk). Something else happened to your car, Bill - I wish we knew what.
I feel lucky that my engine didn't blow during set-up and testing. But very improbable that it will happen now. Maybe they felt SO bad for me that they held my car for quality checks that I not only got a fuel pump upgrade, but forged internals as well!
Not really... what do you see? There is not a boost curve?

Looks like a fun time. Did Steve sign your dash? Or was that another PJ?
I thought you already had his and PJ's siggy on the center vent dash.
Basic Training must have killed you.

Don't mind waking up early it's just there's no reason to be there almost 4 hours early. Plus for you guys it's a 30 minute drive at most while I have a 1:30-1:45 drive. Since it looks like you and Jed are sticking to your guns I plan on being there around 8ish.

Off topic- Everyone thank Bill for scaring me away from FI and or slicks. I don't see any more performance mods in my future. Gotta pay to play and I dont' have $$$ to pay if I break something. Even looks like I'm done on appearance mods. With the exception being any cool small stuff MGW or SHR make. One apearance mod that I'm really eyeing though is a glass roof. Hopefully Saleen will have their retractable one available by years end.
Video editing software is Sony Vegas 7.
That's 4 more hours of hanging out with the fellas.
