It would have been even nicer if they at least prepared us for this.

I think that the multi-quote is fixed now

FYI, for all of those wanting to get subscribed threads.

If you click your name, then choose "find all posts by" or "find all threads by", you can at least go through and select the individual thread to re-subscribe. Laborious...yes. But, at least they're not gone forever.

EDIT: I HATE THIS STUPID 4 IMAGE THING. NOW I MUST TAKE OUT SMILEYS OR SOMETHING

Also, I'm glad to see that they fixed the side that the avatars and stuff were on. Oh, wait...I need an avatar again.

Well, I might need some help. I can't get my avatar fixed.

BUT...I did get my location back. I just re-filled in the info in the edit profile section.

I don't like the new format either. I haven't checked any of my subscriptions or whatever. I just don't like the way it looks or anything.

I dang near bought that unit, until I went and demo'ed it..... didn't like it in person. Got the AVIC D3 for a little more but well worth it.

I had reload my avatar and profile pic.

Don't bother adding subscriptions until the dust settles. The posts I replied to yesterday (in the subscription block) are now gone.

My Hotlinks are still defunct.

Tom1: Your avatars are looking gayer by the day.

Ray: My buddy has a TomTom, he hates it. If you want the portable GPS feature, look no further than the Alpine W205.

I'm with Bill, its a moving target at this point, and anything we do may be for naught which will cause more work in the long haul.

I hate the fact I have to login every time I come here, what a pain. But the red font color seems to have disappeared which is a welcome improvement

Pretty cool tool we've got here at work. Might buy for home use. Really easy to use and works great.

Can't you just press the 'Print Screen' key and paste it into Paint?

It's a quick and dirty screen capture, but it works for me.

Printscreen and paste is what I do. I wouldnt mind having a nav system, but I cant imagine using it very often, other than a few trips a couple times a year, I'd never use it.

One of the reasons why I haven't bought the Blackbird II Alpine nav yet.
The few times I have cruised out into the vast unknown, I just used the portable Garmin and it worked fine.

Problem with in-dash nav units is that they're a PITA to use, as in the case of the wife's Highlander and Jed's Eclipse (from what he told me)... they just have too many un-needed features.

Those little portable Garmins are hard to beat for its simplicity.

All previous subscriptions are lost so you'll need to subscribe manually. Sorry, but that was one of the issues causing us to reload the forums software and import to a new DB.
Well guys looks like we have to manually resubscribe our forums and threads. Oh well. I might wait awhile until this all works itself out, hate to do unnecessary work.
