Here's a recent picture of my bump stop.
There's a slight indication on the frame where it has made contact. From what I see, it's not occurring on a daily (ie. everytime I take it out) basis. Who knows, maybe the few times it has made contact is when I had rear passengers.
So according to Tom, if I'm >250mi a week, I'm good! No bump-stopectomy for me! I get to keep both my bump tips!!

I just set up a dyno appointment at Swanson's this Saturday.
3 pulls with A/F readings.. $100.
We'll see what happens.

Stick with the regular drain plug. Even if you mess up by cross-threading the plug, you only have to buy a new plug. Most all oil pan drain threads are of stonger steel (on purpose), so if anything strips, it's the $5 plug.

Did you say it was a DynoJet? If it's a Mustang Dyno, I won't even accept your numbers.
From all the research I've been doing lately, I've learned that Mustang Dynos can be set-up to read whatever they want them to say. In other words: make the customer happy. Want 300 RWHP? Sure... let me unload the barrel a little bit here...
What was yours on, Leo?
