Good question... at first, I thought it'll look better if all in uppercase, TACOBILL, but I think it's harder to read. So maybe go with TacoBill.

I agree for your name that would be best.

I asked for LEO_06GT but do which do you think looks better?

Leo 06GT
LEO 06GT

BTW-Brad responded saying yes so I just need final conformation on how you want your name displayed.

It's raining pretty good here in SoCal today. Leo, hope you don't have to take your car out in the rain today. If local, I'd rather walk!

Wow, I just past 3000 posts.

Funny you should mention that. I actually drove the wife to work today so that when I went to my dentist appt I wouldn't have to drive the stang. Although it's only cloudy overhere not raining. Eitherway I won't chance it. Cleaning the car after driving in the rain is a PITA IMO.

Leo, you're starting to think like me... Obsessed with keeping the car spic and span.

I can see you getting a second car as a beater soon.

Sorry that happened, Daryl. I know what it feels like - it feels like you've been violated. I've had 2 vehicles broken into. At least they didn't get IN.

I love sliding the car around in the rain without doing too much damage to the expensive tires. I turn the TC off and floor it! It's only water, for Pete's sake! Oh wait... I forgot... white doesn't show any dirt!

-------------------

On a side note, 1 year ago I was playing the waiting game... has it shipped, Kzinti? Has it shipped? How about now? Now, Kzinti?? What about now? Now? Now? Today? Yesterday? What do you mean, quality hold? Broken down rail car?? Wait - that was Daryl...

Sorry Leo, Brian, John, and who ever else subscribes to this thread, I have no dates on your build.

Receipt Date: The date that MS&S recorded the order
When the order is received from the dealers (You give the dealer a deposit and they put the order into the order bank.)

Serialize Date: The date that MS&S transfers the order to MP&L and the VIN is created
When the order is received by Material Planning and parts are ordered

Segment Date: The date that MP&L determines which week the order will be built
When they figure (roughly) that parts will hit the plant to build vehicle

Sequence Date: The date that MP&L determines which day the order will be built
When they figure the exact day that parts will hit the plant to build vehicle

Blend Date: The date that MP&L determines when the order will be built within the assigned day
When they figure the order that vehicles will be built. This depends on options and line constraints.

Produced Date: The date that VO finished assembling the vehicle
Your unit has been built!

Gate Release Date: The date that VO transfers the vehicle to Transportation Carriers for shipping
Your unit has left the building, and is in the hands of the shipper (rail or truck)

Ship Date: The date the vehicle left the Assembly Plant
Your unit has left the load site, and is on it's way to the dealer

Arrival Date: The date the Dealership received the vehicle
Your dealer has the unit in hand, doing the dealer prep thingy

Sold Date: The date the Customer picked up the vehicle
You came in, looked it over, said, "I'll take it!" and signed the papers

Awww, now why not. j/k

I ordered my car after Kzinti was stopped and never knew how to get the dates... do you (or anyone) know where to get 'em. I'd really like to know.

My black doesn't show any DIRT either!

Oh man, I remember us all pulling for poor 'ol Tom. He was like really being punished! How's things been since, Tom?

Anyway, we all got a pretty neat ride IMHO!

Doesn't seem like over a year ago, actually 11/30/05. that I ordered mine. I've wondered about Kzinti, too. I sure thought he performed a neat service for us. I've ordered lots of new cars in my time, but Dr. Kzinti made the Stang the best one of all time.

I miss Susan, too. back then, she was around all the time. 'Course it's tax time again, I guess?

Jim

My wife had to pick me up at the airport tonight since "stole" my stang from the airport parking lot Sunday (she needed to loan her car to our daughter). I really loved the sound of the GTA's as she came drivin up. They have gotten so much deeper sounding than when they were new.
When I landed in Montgomery today it was sunny and 55, after Toronto that felt soooooooooooooooo nice!
It was so cool to drive home in the stang after a week in frozen toronto drivin a Taurus!

Jim, were you following the original 'Ponies on the Run' thread before TMS crashed in 06?

There were a few 'regulars' in the thread, me, Tom, Daryl, Susan, and Tony. But, I don't remember your ID in the mix? Go by a different handle?

I like that... the Drool Date! Guess mine was sometime in 05 when seeing the first spy photos by Amy. I knew one day that I would get one.

Lucky.. Leo and I are still on the waiting list.

Funny, we were one of the first to receive the covers from Midwest, now looks like we're one of the last.

Yeah - Back then I was JDSTANG. I've always been sorta shy, so didn't talk too much then, either.

Heard a guy named Chuck734 over at BOF can run the dates, but can't get the PDF window stickers anymore.

Well that was back then... step up to the mic now!

Tell us what's on the mod list for you and we'll give you our useless opinions on them.
