Back from SCT
Well, I just got back from SCT, and my code is like Bill and Daryl's:
TJF1 (guess it does go by build date, and not vehicle destination)
It cost me like $20 to get that code if you figure in gas and tolls.
At least I killed my fair share of Love Bugs on the round trip:
Attachment 9817 Attachment 9818 Attachment 9819 Attachment 9820
Off to wash the car (after a call to Doug!)
You may not like the Borlas with the top down going 70. Today I was around 70 to 80 mph for most of the way and I wouldn't want it any louder than the Flowmasters.

Come to think of it, the last time I was wrong is when I thought I was wrong.

Someone please catch me up. What do all these acronyms and numbers mean? And will I need them? Is this something to do with the "Tuner" fish? I guess my code would be the same? And why did it cost $20?
When you order a BamaChips Custom Tune (or any other tuner) one of the things you need is the computer calibration code. I took my sticker off, so I had to drive to the place that sells the tuners to have them read my code. The $20 was what it cost me in gas and tolls to get there and back. You "need" it if you want to get rid of the drive-by-wire lag. See, we don't have throttle cables any more. You press your gas pedal down and it sends a signal over an electrical wire to a stepper motor on the throttle body. However, there is an annoying built in delay... the custom tune gets rid of that. It also corrects the speedo if you have bigger tires. It also tunes your car to your specific performance mods... like cold air intakes, exhausts, etc. I think Daryl was the first to list a tune in his mod list...
I like it LOUD! Serously, maybe I need to come take a ride in yours in FLA before making my decision.
Any time... any time...
Tom, why did I think you had taken the "Powered by Ford" off your car? I am so far behind the times.
I thought about it... even set up that poll. I decided to leave it on and I really haven't heard any negative comments about it. Everybody liked it at the TMS Race Rock meet.

Interesting. I was wondering how to adapt a Saleen SC into the Shaker system. Looks like his setup still keeps the Shaker functional, but I would choose a different type of duct and routing.
I like those TR strut tower covers alot!
