Original Sales Receipt

I ran across an original Sales Receipt for a 1966 Mustang 2 door HT. Vin 6F07C226834. Is there anyway to find out if this vehicle is still out there?

Consider doing a google search and enter the Vin number.

What a cool find. I'm sure the current owner would love to have it BUT only a government agency or maybe an insurance company would be able to help you as the database covering all 50 states is just too large. I can't think of any other way off-hand to search for it other than the internet search engines.
Unfortunately the Mustang has most likely been crushed along with all the others that shared the same fate.

Thanks NC07GTCS, I thought the owner would too. Chances are slim, I'm in Michigan, so what didn't get crashed probably rusted out. But just in case, its posted, just maybe they will see it.

Are you certain that none of the numbers are neither missing nor have faded from the receipt? As all VIN numbers are usually 17 digit numbers

VINs from the 1960’s did not conform to today’s standard.

^^^ Yes, 1981 was the start of the 17 number VIN.

Okay you guys, I stand corrected on the VIN digits lol. I did however attempt to enter the VIN number the OP provided in the Kelly Blue Book Website, but it rejected the number due to not being 17 digits. Perhaps the OP might consider contacting classic car insurance companies such as Hagerty and Grundy or maybe even AAA might be able to locate it in their databases
