Nice cool day on the Blue Ridge Pkwy
We woke up to 42 degrees this a.m. after a cold front came through western NC. We knew it would warm up by the afternoon so off we went to the Blue Ridge Pkwy which is just 45 minutes away.. At 66 degrees we put the top down and cruised with the heater on. My wife packed a picnic lunch and here are some of the views we enjoyed along the Blue Ridge Pkwy near the area of Maggie Valley. We call these 'hi-def' days with none of the haze that the Great Smoky Mountains are well known for.
