It appears that the movie industry has ran out of original ideas by the looks of all the remarks that have been out the pat couple of years. And for the most part the remakes suck. I'm quite sure this one will also, 'cause we all know that Newman is the one and only Bullitt.
And of course, if the pick something other than a Mustang GT it will be sacrilege.

Only one person that could successfully be the right fit for filling the shoes of Steve McQueen as Frank Bullitt would be his son Chad McQueen... Nothing personal against Bradley Cooper, but he has no experience as a stunt nor race car driver... IMHO Chad McQueen is the only person who is rightfully worthy enough to carry on his father's legacy...
