Need help!

I have an 05 mustang v6 automatic trans. About once a month I will go to start it and it is completely dead. So husband told me to take the ground wire off battery and wait 5 mins and put it back on and see what it does . I done what he said and it fired right up. Can anyone explain what might be going on . And the last time it done it my window would not go all the way up and the car lock light was flashing . I have took it to advance and they checked the battery and the alternator and there were no problems.

Are the Battery connections clean and tight? What stereo option does the car have?

Like Jazzman says, even though the battery terminals don't look to bad you may need to get a terminal brush, and clean them good. It doesn't take much corrosion to cause problems. Good luck.

If you don't have a brush you can pick one up at your local Wally World, or Auto store. And clean both neg., and positive to make sure.
