Thanks and health insurance premiums/deductibles are just ridiculous anymore.

Anyway, in my case there was no possible identity issues with anyone other than the IRS (or maybe Navin working at Hartounian's gas station). You know, total idiots.

The IRS now just sends me a "temporary" ID to use with each year's tax return.

And, as I mentioned, if you had a refund coming (I didn't) they may hold it up while a team of investigators make sure you weren't in on the scam. I mean you are a prime suspect in their minds. After all, who else but YOU would know your name and thereby avoid using it when filing the fraudulent return.
It doesn't look like I have any issues other than the IRS either. I put a fraud alert with the credit bureaus.

I also spoke with the IRS Identity Theft Protection Unit for about 90 minutes yesterday. It appears they had already flagged the return as suspicious. So for this year we will have to send in the paper return and then they will most likely issue is the PIN for future efilings.

Now my husband just received a letter from the State that they received his return on Feb 20th and are investigating it. Of course we didn't have our taxes done until the 25th........so here we go again, but with the State now and for him and not me.

Single income families, with 3 children, plus a parent who is a student get pretty nice tax breaks. Unfortunately they start making you pay when you graduate, and get a good job, and try to make a living for your family.... how dare we...

Meh, I was last week. Been walking, jogging and exercising my *** off this week trying to make up for it. Gotta lose another 15 lbs to see how it works on me. Not having much luck the last few months.

I lost 11 pounds last couple of weeks and then had a cheat day for my birthday and gained 6 back. Oh well.

Hey, what ever it takes brother. We're getting old man, gotta do something. I don't really care if I die, but I'd rather not just die old and fat when I can do something to help it. Might not help much after the life I've lived, but I'm trying. Something hit me a few years ago and I thought "why not give it a try, got nothing to lose". Never felt better since then. Still got a long way to go, but at least I'm still here (some people like that, others wish I was gone I'm sure, LOL).

I fluctuate too Gary, especially during the winter. I was 155lb buck naked this morning. Figure if I can lose another 15 to get rid of this fat around the middle and *****, I can then start working out as much as I'm able to to get some muscle and tone back up to about 175. I figure 175 , 6' tall and toned will draw some attention for potential sex partners.
