Today is really the first day I feel anywhere close to normal. It was a longer recovery than I was expecting.

Well, it's only Tuesday, lol. I had my tubes tied on a Thursday and by Tuesday I still wasn't able to stand up straight and was battling a nasty case of a gas pocket from the CO2 they used in my belly. So much easier for you guys than us wimmen! Hope I never need a hysterectomy cuz I don't ever want to go through that again. But I'm glad you are feeling better

My wife had hers cut and tied when we had our girl. C-section. The doctor lady walked me through the entire procedure. The whole uterus was pulled out. She pointed out the tubes and ovaries and all the parts attached. Walked me through the entire process as she was doing it. Like some live discovery channel stuff. Completely amazing experience to see all the anatomy pieces outside her body. But I feel for you gals cuz there ain't no way that can hurt like hell when the medicine wears off.

He showed me what he took out. They looked like two macaroni noodles that had been dipped in marinara sauce lol.

Well, that's way more involved than what I went through. I just had a little incision under my belly button where they did laparoscopic surgery. Probably could have maintained the pain a little better but I didn't like the way the percocet made me feel, so I think I only took 1 or 2 and stopped.

Last night in the car, my wife accidentally dropped her cell phone in my lap...

It felt like she spiked it like a football. Still pretty sensitive apparently!

Initially I thought she casually tossed it over (it was dark) because of how much it hurt... it must have been a direct hit. It was not cool.
