Chili isn't chili without beans unless it's on top of a hot dog.

The pop/soda/coke discussion must be due soon.

I'm from CA, I don't have a dog in that fight. My dad is from Chicago though and all his family says pop.

How did you get from chili to pop?
The two combined make for a great burp and fart.

Stayed home yesterday watched football and some WWE classics. The family brought home the turkey dinner for me. Still feeling snotty from this suckish cold.

Correct.

I haven't made any chili in a while. Might be about time...well, if it ever actually gets cold around here. Played golf in shorts and a polo today.

We had chili over mac n cheese the other day. We usually do rice or plain macaroni noodles, but when we feel like splurging, mac n cheese it is.

Never tried it like that but it sounds really good. I don't eat pasta much anymore, or cheese, (or potatoes, or bread, or red meat, or etc. LOL) but that sounds awesome! I usually eat my turkey chili by its self, or with a few crackers and little cheese sprinkled on top. Have gotten away from rice and cornbread as much as I can. Still trying to lose weight.

Finally got down into the 150ish range at 6' but I'm still not happy with with way I look with my upper body, clothes look like **** on me and I hate it, can't find anything that fits rigtht. Still too much fat and too flabby up there, trying to lose another 15lbs or so, or build up some muscle to lose some inches around the torso and chest. Hard to do when you have a ****ed up back, knees and ankles.

I wish I could find something that would fit me right. My shoulders are wide and my chest is thick but I'm small in the waist, so shirts that fit good on my shoulders and chest are huge and long around the waist and look like crap from the chest down, especially when I tuck them in.

My cousin had a shirt that looked good on me (according to him, my aunt, his wife, etc.) when I was down at the Gulf last week though. It was a dress shirt, button up, long sleeve that was to be worn untucked. It was a Large, slim fit. Fit my shoulders and chest perfectly but tapered down thin in the middle. Need to go get some of those, but the one he had was $120 and I might be too cheap to spend that much on shirts, but damm if it didn't feel and look really good on me with some nice jeans.

Might even be able to get laid with a shirt like that and the slim fit jeans I've got.

Yeah the "slim" or "tailored" fit shirts are usually like that - wider at the shoulders and slimmer to the waist. Check out Men's Wearhouse...they always have a ton of sales and really good rewards programs. I've gotten a few polos and button downs from them recently, basically free.

I need to go there and try on some shirts then. I need a shirt that is large from the chest up and a medium/small below the chest. I get so pissed off with shirts. A t-shirt that will fit me in the chest and shoulders is so big and long in the waist that it comes down almost to my knees. And when I tuck it in its so bunched up that you can see it (and feel it) wadded up in my pants because its so long and blouse like.

That shirt my little cousin had fit so good, hes always been a thin, muscular guy since we were kids. Button up, sleeves rolled up to the elbow, fit my shoulders and chest, but was tapered down at the waist. He's the straightest guy on earth, a real man's man but when I put his shirt on he said "dang, you look really good in that shirt"

Lee IMHO a 6' man shouldn't weigh 150 lbs let alone 135 lbs.

Problem is that I don't look like I weigh that little, I've got fat and loose skin around my mid section from when I weighed 280. And I've always had chicken legs and no **** so most of my weight is in my upper body.

I fluctuate between 158-163 right now and I figure if I keep walking like I am and get down where I'm floating between 145-150 it'll get rid of this around the middle that is making my clothes fit like crap.
