doing my part to keep this thread going.

Put up bunk beds yesterday for my boys, ages 6 and 4... turns out, I actually put a two story a jungle gym in their bedroom..smh.... its a miracle they've never been seriously injured, the probability is now higher than ever.

I pulled some steaks out of the freezer that my meat guy brought me, dated 1-15-16, ribeyes, slapped them on the grill at about 600 degrees and I swear they may be the best steak I've ever had, and I've eaten a metric ****on of steaks in my life. Don't know what those cows were fed, how the weather was or what went on in that batch that was butchered, but holy crap I don't think I've ever had a steak that tender or flavorful. These things were literally falling apart, even at medium rare. Fell into several pieces when I was trying to pick them up off the grill with tongs.

What do you guys keep your a/c on? When its really hot like it has been here, 95 degrees, I keep it on 78 during the day and 74 at night so I can sleep better. Have to cover up with a quilt though or I'll freeze my ***** off, especially with fans running in my bedroom. .

All my houses has been different.

Currently in this house with AC on I keep my side on 74 and the kids side on 76 and it feels good. My wife complains it's too cold. When they are at school and I'm at work I kick them both up to 78 when we are gone and then back down at night.

Pretty sure she would've known I was lying if I said that. Its pretty obvious I'm not packing much, and I'm pretty sure they look in those tanning booths when I'm laying in there in my skivvies, and it ain't much to look at for sure, lol. Boxer briefs + small package + just enough to cover me + wearing a much smaller size (M) this year = not so interesting to look at or be impressed by.

I've noticed that when its really ****ing hot outside (95+) during the day, 78 is very cool and comfortable in here and 75 at night. When it cools down in the 80s I have to keep it at 76 and 74 at night to feel comfortable.

But its been very hot and very dry this year. Heat indexes well over 100 and hot as **** at night. Heck, by the official readings, we've only had 1 inch of rain in the last 6 weeks. Its dry as a bone.
