I was this close to having it finished

Then JPC Racing found out the piston manufacturer messed up a piston and I had one bad piston so out came the engine and 8 brand new pistons were ordered and put back in the motor. So I am waiting for JPC to finish the car off again. I'm getting really anxious waiting after almost 2 years of it being down. They are paying for everything so I don't want to be overly pushy about the car, but I just want it back so I can go drive it.

Picked up a new daily today. 2014 Focus ST with 32k miles. Base model but she's super clean.

That's awesome Nate, you're becoming a baller!

I'm in Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge for the week. I've seen at least 100 cars with Florida tags today. Who in the hell would leave the beach capital of America to come all the way up to the Smoky Mountains for a 4th of July vacation?

Thanks Lee. Enjoy Tennessee! I've never been to Florida, so I wouldn't know.

Made the mistake of trying to go to Folly Beach one 4th of July. I spent 2 hours in bumper to bumper stop and go traffic with my heavy Mustang clutch, all to go about 10 miles.

I understand that. Especially from people that live near the beach (like those people I see from Florida) It just seems that if you live near the beach, you'd go there in the summer, but if you live there you would want to get away. I see what you mean, I live in these mountains and I don't really appreciate it because I'm always here, its nothing special to me, I'd rather be at the beach for summer vacation (I could be, but that is prime time for high rates and that is when I make my money to pay for my other beach time, lol)

I've loved within 1 hour of a pretty ****ty beach my whole life. Some years I actually lived in a beach town or even on the water. I'm sick of it. I spent my youth and especially my teenage years going to the beach. Some of these beaches were actually on the gulf and kind of decent for being Texas beaches. But the best times I've had were in a clean clear cool lake on a boat or just in the water. I don't want to ski in the bay or gulf I used to ski on a lake. I much prefer to boat on a lake. I prefer to swim in water that's fresh. And after those teenage years on a beach I was tired of the sand in my crotch.

And the ****ing humidity sucks!!!
