Yeah, that is a great one.

Hey man, I might be down there this week, or for the next couple weeks, if I can get some family stuff worked out right. If I get a day or two free we might ride over to NOLA for some food and drinks. Just depends on how things work out over in Alabama. Stay checked in here, I might need some advice.

Can anyone recommend a decent grease gun? I thought we had one but can't find it anywhere and my sway bar bushings have started squeaking like hell.

Hey man, I'm down here. Ate some ribeyes cooked over a fire pit last night on Dauphpin Island. Freakin' amazing, delicious juicy goodness, melt in your mouth.

Can't think of anything specific to recommend, both of mine are really old ones from back in the day, but I'd make sure you get one that you can easily get grease cartridges for, otherwise its going to be a pain in the ****.

Just check out the New Orleans web sites. This is festival season so something is going on during the day every weekend for a while. All the festivals are usually filled with music, food, and drinking so it's always a win.

Got a batch of Royal Reds ordered up, seasoned, steamed and ready to go. Got somebody bringing them by later for supper tonight.

Damm that sounds good. We don't got those here but it's a highlight every Bama trip for me.

Had the Porterhouse for two and some sides. They should call it the Porterhouse for 5 considering it will take me until at least Saturday to finish eating it (no more than I eat at a time these days). Of course a steak that costs almost $100 À la carte should feed you for a while, lol. (yes, I'm a cheap bastard, but I will splurge from time to time, you don't even want to see the bill I got from that dinner tonight, ) But hey, gotta live a little now and then. But a $10 baked tater and a $10 salad, and a $10 dish of broccoli or order of fries added to a $50-100 À la carte steak as a side for 8 people is a little over the top for a redneck like me. Not to mention the drinks.

I could never spend that much on a steak. I just don't like it that much. Plus I can really only handle a tiny piece right now anyways.

I've heard of it but never been there myself, rest of the family down here have and like it. We're going to Felix's Monday, gotta get my crab claw fix. Next time y'all come through and want to try something new (I know your ol lady likes Felix's) go to the Kitchen on George. Its upscale and you need reservations most of the time but if you're traveling and its daytime you might get in without one.

Also if you just want a good burger and a drink stop by Callaghan's Irish Social Club. Dive type place in an old residential neighborhood.

Me either. I wont even pay sticker price for a car, let alone over sticker. They can shove it right up their butthole.

I love steak more than anything, but I'm like you now. I just can't eat very much of anything at one time. My cousin cooked some big ribeyes Saturday night and I ate some of mine then, ate some more of it Sunday for my supper and ate the rest of it Monday for supper. Used to I'd have finished the whole thing Sat night when they came off the fire.

Stupid multi-quote doesn't work anymore. I've noticed more and more stuff doesn't work on the old layout lately. I guess they're slowly screwing it up to make you use the new one.
