I'm the same way, I don't run my cars that low. Makes me nervous, mainly because I can't walk as far as I used to.

Well you know, there is that windage thing, fuel pump starves, A/F goes whacko, supercharger forces leanage, pistons go

Probably happened a few times already today at Maple Grove.

I hope not, curves at Maple Grove would be disastrous.

There was one time years and years ago where my dad kept assuring my mom that we had enough gas to make it to the station. Well, we didn't. Lol

Kenny Bernstein is a total *******. I've met every one of the NHRA guys many times, and he was always a *****. I liked him until the first time I met him back in the 90's and after that I had no use for him.

Eddie Hill and his wife were probably the nicest people I ever met at a race. Loved both of them dearly.

Been at a cook out, had chicken legs and pork chops coated with Cavenders on the grill and topped with bbq sauce from my buddy's place in GA and Conecuh. Had a great time. We were late getting started and the boys were so happy to get to stay up late. Eventually it was way past their bed time and my oldest nephew (10) crawled up in my lap while everyone was talking. Yawning and struggling to stay awake and talk with the grown ups, he finally put his arms around my neck and fell asleep in my lap.

That was pretty cool, love that boy. So freaking smart and funny. Had to carry him to bed and his dad and I had to tuck him in. I expect a call as soon as he wakes up wondering where I'm at and why I didn't spend the night (that wont be good, I won't be up until at least noon, lol. )
