These individual size pecan pies may be the greatest thing I've ever put in my mouth (other than a woman's privates). It just melted me, don't know how to describe the ecstasy that filled my mouth when I bit into these pies that an ol' lady in my family made. This is good ****, I'd eat many more. Don't get me wrong, I love Nate, but he needs to come down South and experience some of this good weather and food.

Which earlier post? No , I'm dealing with some drama right now, and I'm ready to snap.

Well snap. You can't even imagine the point I'm at when it comes to snapping.

Have at it.

Have a Smashburger just opened near downtown Houston. Really good.
nice to see you on Patrick

Never heard of Smashburger either. I can't remember the last time I've had fast food. The older I get, I can't eat that crap anymore. I used to be able to eat anything and not gain weight....not anymore

I did have Ledo's pizza yesterday for lunch though. It's the best but I think they are more localized to the mid-Atlantic area. Sooo good!

So many more options out there that when my mom first stopped eating it several years back.

And for anyone wondering, GF brownies are 10x better than regular ones. Very rich and fudge-like. I dare you to try one.
Two of my nieces have Celiac and they have the same problem with eating out. It has gotten easier finding GF in restaurants over the years, but still a pain for them.

I tried wearing my sons's slippers to bring some firewood in, but they kept falling off and making it too hard to walk

If he was awake I'd ask him and he'd do it. He's still on Hawaii time and gets up around 11, which is his 6am. I guess it will be easier or him to acclimate when he goes back.

We used to but they shut down years ago....it wasn't bad.

I'll admit, I did own a Checkers/Rally's restaurant for a while. Good location, it was next to a Walmart and a Home Depot, I loved the food for a while, but now I can only stand to eat the fries after having so much of it.

I worked at a Pizza Hut when I was 16.....haven't eaten at one since.

Ledo's is pretty good...always liked it....but now it doesn't even come close to comparing to the Italian place we have here. Everything else I have tried sucks compared to their pizzas.

Morning everyone....Back at work....F'n slave driving boss!

I don't eat fast food very often. But not because its unhealthy. Ill drop $150 on dinner for me and the wife every once in a while on the most artery clogging menu you've ever seen. I go to five star restaurants and clean plates with the rolls. No such thing as leftovers. I don't eat fast food because its friggen terrible. I remember when a quarter pounder tasted good. If I could go back 20 years in time ill bet it still would taste good. The world just accepts garbage nowadays

Busy day today. Just cleaned the house, doing laundry and I have to bake my cookies today since I haven't done that yet. Also have to dye my hair and we are going bowling with my son, his buddy that came home in leave yesterday, his family and their friends tonight. Tomorrow I will do my pecan pie, deep dish apple pie, and chocolate pie, go grocery shopping and watch some football.

For Gary,

The sound of the car in this video gave me chills.
